Washington (CNN) - The top Republican in the Senate says he'll oppose a resolution to authorize U.S. military action against Syria.

"I will be voting against this resolution. Our vital national security risk is clearly not at play," said Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky Tuesday.

Matt Bevin is the reason!

"Congratulations to Sen. McConnell for finally coming off the sidelines and reaching a decision on Syria after Matt Bevin, other congressional leaders, and a majority of the public made up their minds against an attack," said a statement from the Bevin campaign following McConnell's Senate speech.

Boehner STILL supports Obama, al Qaeda and ObamaCARE.

The GOP loves him for it.

I don’t think he’s in any danger with Rand Paul supporting him.

Ed Markey “Sitting In” at the Malden Observer today outlined his reasons for not supporting a military strike. That requires a “NO” vote. But Obama is BLACK!!!!

Rand Paul owns McConnell now. That’s the reason.

To be honest, I don’t think what Rand Paul says will matter to the people of Kentucky if they get thoroughly sick of McConnell.

Other than maybe Sarah Palin, I pay no attention whatsoever to another politician’s endorsement (and I live in MA where it wouldn’t make any difference in reality anyway).

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada), House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-California) have all publicly come out in support of President Barack Obama’s call for congressional approval of limited action against Syria.

******

It is not McConnell we should be focused on, it is the two-faced traitor Boehner we should be looking at. The congressional offices should be flooded with emails and phone calls screaming for his removal.

I think Boehner knows he’s going to retire (or would lose a primary). So he’s going to screw us and the conservative caucus in as many ways as he can before he goes since he’ll be free to act. It’s insidious!

I would feel better if Boehner were removed from office in total shame rather then be allowed to complete his term. It is insidious.

We have allowed these jerks to walk all over us. That needs to stop. They are their through our will, not theirs. Their comfort zone needs to be removed and we need to stop re-electing these bloated morons.

McConnell finally got off straddling the fence. Maybe his balls were hurting—no I doubt he has any.

McConnell needs to be primaried.

Boehner needs to be removed from the Speakers Chair, and not too gently. Undoubtedly the worst Speaker in the history of this country.
