Is that true? I've heard in some states the police are required to take someone into custody. I would imagine that more than a few men are arrested, even though it's a complete fabrication. I remember a story on FR where a guy in a wheel chair was stabbed by his wife and he was arrested.
Police reported no evidence of assault. They could find nothing to arrest him for. When the woman's story turns out to be a fabrication, the cops leave.
(The articles indicate there was no gun, but they don't say he didn't hit the father)

What the text reveals is GZ was asking her at 9:45am if she’s done yet. She says she’s going there in 20.
At 11:34am he asks her if she is done. She responds she hasn’t even entered yet!
His last text, at 5 minutes before noon, “OK let me know when you’re finished please”.
Shellies call to 911 was at 2:15pm.

10:40 GZ has had enough of Shellie, and her IPAD gets damaged and tossed outside while everyone watches. She is on the phone then.
