She does appear rather aggressive, as opposed to panicked. Also, to get from the WH up to Capitol/Hart senate bldg., one sort of has to have a deliberate plan—it’s no straight shot, nor is it good odds that someone would just wind up there by random direction, etc.

Me too. My gut is she was panicked, I heard one of the first with guns drawn was wearing shorts and did not look like a cop. If that is the case... I don’t blame her for fleeing.

Didn’t look like she was trying to avoid a confrontation, when she slammed it into reverse, hit the cop car behind her, then floored it out of the area.
Everything else after that is likely just being in the wrong place, at the wrong time, doing the wrong thing, in the wrong way.

One of the best weapons there is. People tend to get out of the way of a 2-ton hunk of metal hurtling down the street at 60mph.
I could be convinced of the “panicked crazy female” angle if I knew why she needed to be in DC. If was also a crazy reason, then that’s probably what happened.
I can’t believe anyone thinks she panicked. Any mother with a baby in the car, is NOT going to put that baby in danger.
She could have been messed up on drugs for all I know, but to think this is a normal reaction for a woman with a baby, is just illogical, to me.
The normal mom would freeze, not wanting to risk harm to herself or her child. Just don’t buy that idea. She was on a mission of some sort and no one was going to stop her.
I think it is highly unlikely that a young black woman—from the Northeast at that!—would blame Obama for the shutdown, and the WH was her initial target.
I’d say mental illness, meds from her head injury, and/or baby/child support drama are all plausible factors.
