For about 5 years now, various Americans from across the political spectrum have talked about taking back their country and restoring strict adherence to our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Patriots; There has been a lot of talk, not much action and even less success. In truth, there has been an even further erosion of our liberties as our government continues to expand its power and because less transparent and accountable to WE THE PEOPLE.

With that perspective, it seems essential that WE THE PEOPLE commit to a 2014 New Years Resolution focused on turning back this erosion of our individual liberties and the expansion of our government’s power. And, in making these resolutions, it would be prudent to admit that our actions and strategies over the past few years have been ineffective. Therefore, in making these 2014, we should assess which past actions and strategies have been ineffective and replace them with new strategies.

At the same time, we should incorporate into our 2014 New Year’s Resolutions, changing paradigms which should be harnessed to effect the desired change.

With that preface, let us launch into developing Resolutions (Objectives) aimed at securing our mutual goals of retaking our Country and restoring our Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Before going further, this writer advises the reader of his endorsement of Natural Law and his preference to inform his reader in accordance with the principles of Natural Law. Amongst those principles, is the following:

Truth to be established by the individual using their own observations and reasoning.

And further, this writer advises the reader to exercise Critical Thinking (http://bit.ly/ubI6ve) in determining the truthfulness of anything you read or hear. Do not passively accept nor believe anything anyone tells you, including this writer... unless and until you verify it yourself with sources you trust and could actively defend your perspective to anyone who might debate you to the contrary of your perspective. This advice seems particularly relevant in light of the confirmed lies used by our government to pass Obamacare.

And, this writer posits that each person who would say they love their children and/or would call themselves true patriot would commit to this first 2014 New Year’s resolution:

RESOLUTION ONE

I will be actively involved in the political process this year.

This means not just voting, but attending political meetings, advocating positions on issues, rallying like-minded fellow citizens to participate, supporting grassroots candidates and confronting the corrupt status quo.

Next, this writer believes WE THE PEOPLE to confront the corrupt status quo. This writer believes that the best way to do this is to create unity amongst WE THE PEOPLE.

This writer asserts that the two alleged major parties have betrayed their rank and file membership. The two major parties have used issues as a means to divide and conquer WE THE PEOPLE. In dividing WE THE PEOPLE they also distract us their corruption and prevent us from uniting against the corrupt, incumbent status quo of the two major parties.

The confirmation of the lies told to get passage of Obamacare and the recently exposed violations of our privacy by the NSA have created a paradigm shift we should use to our advantage. That Paradigm shift being distrust of government by both the rank and file membership of the alleged left and the alleged right, whereas before a great portion of rank and file Americans regarded government as benevolent and trustworthy. This writer suggests that WE THE PEOPLE should use this opportunity to unite against our corrupt government.

With this premise, this writer would propose the following resolution for each who says they love their children and/or call themselves true patriots:

RESOLUTION TWO

I will actively work to unite the rank and file membership of my party to overthrow the current ineffective and/or counterproductive leadership in control of my party and will replace them with persons transparent and accountable to the rank and file membership, or I will actively research and join and/or form a viable 3rd Party that is transparent and accountable to its rank and file membership.

In Caucus States, you should contact your neighbors to attend your local caucuses and elect new people to positions of power within the party and as candidates for political office. In Primary States (and Caucus States) you can also rally majorities to take control of your local Basic Political Organizational Unit (BPOU). And then, endorse persons other than incumbents to represent the best interests of the rank and file membership. (Local BPOU usually meet once a month. Contact your Party for contact information)

This writer believes you will hear all sorts of reasons why various party officials or elected government officials should not be removed. The one simple response is this: “Regardless of the reason, the present leadership has failed to represent the best interests of the rank and file membership”. With the recent sacking of several Professional Football Coaches, point out that results matter.

Now, for those of you still loyal to political parties, this writer proposes the following activities to test the loyalty of your party to you and the party platform. This writer has experienced blow back from submitting resolutions, demanding adherence to the party platform and speaking truth to power that must be experienced to be believed.

RESOLUTION THREE

I will use this following list of activities to test the loyalty of my party to me.

PROPOSED ACTIVITIES

One of the most frustrating experiences past the initial precinct Caucus stage is the leadership’s pressure to make the meetings short. However, short means you don’t get time to discuss and debate the party’s departure from the platform, etc. And the lack of opportunity to question the slate of candidates proposed by the nominating committee and/or other candidates. Make sure the leadership of whatever level of political meeting you are attending understands there must be adequate time for full, fair and free debate. How can we fix the corrupt status quo if we cannot question (transparency) and hold accountable (fire) the corrupt status quo? Force implementation of a set of 10 to 20 questions on issues that require written responses from the candidates.
Introduce Resolutions to the Party Platform. This writer would like to suggest this Fiscal TAR (Transparency, Accountability and Reform) Party Platform Resolution. The writer believes this Fiscal TAR should be greeted enthusiastically by the Republican and Democrat Party, if they represent the best interests of WE THE PEOPLE. This writer has introduced and had versions of this resolution passed at lower levels of the party since 2010. However, the blowback suggests there is great fraud and waste that is being hidden. The Fiscal TAR resolution is, quite simply:
All Municipalities (Counties, Cities, Schools, etc.) are required to post their budgets and actual expenditures and revenues on the internet in terms understandable by the average high school graduate with no aggregates greater than $100.00, or;

All Municipalities (Counties, Cities, Schools, etc.) are required to post all of their actual checkbook ledgers on the internet in terms understandable by the average high school graduate.

That said records shall be maintained on the internet for 10 years and be easily downloadable to fully functioning spreadsheets such as Microsoft Excel.

Such a requirement will allow all citizens to act as auditors of the government books thereby preventing fraud and waste and creating some of the transparency and accountability in government that the Founders intended.

(Don’t fall for the classic line; these numbers are already on the internet. Almost invariably, these numbers are posted in the form of aggregated numbers in the millions and hundreds of thousands of dollars. A lot of waste and fraud can be hidden in big numbers. You can see your own checkbook on the internet, why can’t you see a function restricted function of your government’s checkbook(s) on the internet.)

This writer believes you will come to share his concerns and attitudes about political parties upon experiencing the responses you will receive from participating in these activities.

And finally, let us talk about those of you involved in theoretically non-partisan political groups. This writer’s greatest involvement has been with the TEA Party and Occupy Groups. This writer has two major concerns he feels should be addressed with such groups. The first of these being the effectiveness of the activities of these groups and, the second of these being, the effectiveness and legitimacy of the leadership.

With regard to the activities, this writer is aware that almost all meetings of TEA Party and Occupy Groups are spent engaged in complaining about issues or watching/listening to movies and speakers. These amount to preaching to the choir and are ineffective in confronting and defeating the corrupt status quo. (Is your group little more than an unquestioning, cheerleading squad for the party it seems to have an affinity to?)

RESOLUTION FOUR

I will not allow my time devoted for political activism be wasted in non-productive activities. I will not simply go yell at the rank and file membership of the opposition at the direction of my party or group. I will organize and/or only participate in organized events to go confront my elected officials and demand specific action. I will require elected officials to respond in writing and will not accept generic form letters as legitimate responses. I will confront and hold accountable, not only candidates and elected officials of the opposing party or group, I will even more vigorously confront and hold accountable elected officials I voted for.

Regarding the Leadership of TEA Party, Occupy and/or other allegedly non-partisan groups, this writer requests the reader to question the effectiveness and legitimacy of the leadership.

To begin with, has it been more than a year since there was an election. Has the person currently in that position, been in that position for more than 1 term (1 year)? Is that person a party official, elected official or a relative of a party or elected official? Have they been affective in achieving the groups stated goals?

RESOLUTION FIVE

I will not tolerate an ineffective or illegimate leadership within my allegedly non-partisan political group like the TEA Party or Occupy. I will require at least annual elections of the leadership. I will require term limits of the group’s leadership not to exceed two terms. I will oppose elected leadership composed of person who is political party officials, elected officials and/or the relatives of political party or elected officials. Most importantly, I will not permit the continuation of ineffective leadership. As the results of the past few years have demonstrated a failure to retake the country, and force adherence to the Constitution and Bill of Rights, I will act to have the present leadership of my alleged non-partisan organization reelected, as they have been ineffective to date.

It is this writer’s belief that the commonality of experience caused by each of you trying to keep your resolution will result in you sharing the perception of reality of this writer and other persons across the political spectrum.

If by some miracle, you experience success, WE THE PEOPLE will have moved towards our goal of retaking our country and forcing adherence to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. If, as this writer believes, you experience the same stonewalling, blow back and retaliation he has, WE THE PEOPLE will be unified in creating an alliance to take back our country and force adherence to the Constitution and Bill of Rights in 2016.

The True Battle is NOT Republican vs. Democrat, Left vs. Right, white vs. color, Christian vs. Non-Christian: The TRUE BATTLE IS WE THE PEOPLE VS THE CORRUPT INCUMBENT RULING CLASS ELITE

There are not 2 major political parties. There is 1 and only 1 ruling class pretending to be 2 major political parties. They use issues to divide, conquer, confuse and distract WE THE PEOPLE.

Happy New Year 2014, fellow Patriots.

They all learn the same “livestock management” techniques to use on WE THE PEOPLE.

And that leaves WE THE PEOPLE with this conundrum: While our #Government works full time with compensation and funded with our money for the cause of #Tyranny; WE THE PEOPLE are forced to work part time without compensation for the cause of #liberty with what is left over of our time, money and energy.
