In August 2008, Senator Barack Obama made an impromptu statement about the invasion of Georgia by Russia which had happened earlier in the day. A clearly bothered Obama was about to leave for vacation in Hawaii and his statement was jumbled and at points contradictory.
Today, he made a similar statement about Putin’s invasion of the Crimea. While Obama’s speech was without as many stutters, it was still hollow on rhetoric and without the emphasis to prevent further Russian actions. To paraphrase Charles Krauthammer today: Obama told the world that he would take no serious action to check Russia.
Taking a look at both statements shows why Putin thinks that he can get away with a 2008 redux.

Obama is the Roman decadence emperor of weaknesses... always attacking from weakness and trying to fool others down to his level of incompetence. It works in America with the lofo brainwashed media, but not abroad.
He is making himself a weak threat, something speeding up the demise of America by accepting getting nuked.

He is going to get away with it. Pootey has been planning this for 5-6 years. He’s not about to let anything endanger his naval port on the Black Sea. He will prolly get Crimea and it will split the Ukraine just like he got Osettia split off from Georgia.
The people of Crimea want to be with Russia. They speak Russion, they are Russian and they want to be part of Russia. The Ukranians hate Russia and they want to align with the EU. So be it.
The Crimean Tatars who were deported by Stalin in WWII wouldn't like it, and they are Muslim.
