PETA is usually so deliberately exaggerated and over the top that it’s hard to parody them properly. Their ads give aging sex-mobiles ( I’m looking at you, Pam Anderson) another gratuitous opportunity to display and discuss.

Then cook in 350 degree oil, mix milk and flour with some of the oil and make gravy....fried chicken and gravy; truly a gift from God’s table.

peta freaks are almost always “pro choice” so the “unborn child” part is really ironic.

Some folks might not know that chickens eggs for consumption are *not* fertilized. There is no embryo, or embryonic fluid. Once again PETA failed to do its homework before standing up in class.

I’m quite sure the eggs you get at a store are never fertilized.

Imho, by “unborn child” they mean “unborn chicken”. PETA is not concerned with human babies. To them, animals are the same as humans. So, I’m sorry, but this ad doesn’t make PETA seem ethical to me.

Well, facts never did get in the way of good propaganda...

I might add that I doubt hens consider their eggs a "child"

It’s not like the PETA folks are all that heavy on facts... but you’d sure expect them to be pro-life.

We like our Chicken Ovulations coating the muscle tissue of plant matter eating herbivores all covered in ground wheat seeds....

It is the customary food where we come from, in France...

My stepfather raised chickens for commercial scale egg production. The hens absolutely loved fresh raw egg. My stepfather knew I loved to feed it to them, but he was also very strict about not letting them see where the treat came from. He was afraid that if they saw me break open an egg (a cracked one that would not be sellable), they would learn that a tasty goody was inside that white thing.

Usually.

You missed my point...

All mothers have a natural instinct to protect their offspring...

I was talking about eggs, not living breathing chicks...
