To all the Putin apologists,

Posted on 03/05/2014 9:45:42 AM PST by Red White and Blue patriot

Whether you are paid agents, losertarian isolationis, or just dim wits who wouldn't know what conservatism and freedom are if they kicked you in the backside. Why are still here? The land of vodka and borscht awaits. If you hate this country so much, don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you. Go join your brothers in mother Russia. I served this country. I love this country despite all its faults. It is the greatest nation that has ever been or ever will be. Despite my disgust with the politicians I would never side with the likes of the Red Russians. Never! And for those here hoping for Uncle Vlad to come and rescue them from the government by supplying assistance to a secessionist movement, you belong in prison for anybody who would accept the help of a commie tyrant is a traitor.

"Putin is not our friend, but Obama is a greater danger to this country than Putin."

In a nut shell.

“I wouldn’t call them apologist, but there are those that have an almost admiration for him, and I admit that puzzles me. I don’t see that kind of near admiration for other tyrannical dictators who want to take over the world around here.”

I would only say that Russia is getting better, under Putin’s leadership, on many fronts, while we are getting worse under Obama’s (if you can call it leadership under Obama)...

I do believe Obama is more of a communist than Putin.

Yes. I know that Putin is doing what he thinks is right for Russia. The US and Europe have totally mismanaged their relations with Russia since the fall of communism. We had a window of opportunity where we could have made Russia an ally, but instead both the US and Europe did a series things which alienated and pushed the Russians away from us. However, no matter the mistakes made, there comes a time when you have to confront the monster you created. Putin is that monster. That time is now. God help us. We have the wrong people in charge. We need a Ronald Reagan but we have this clown, Obama.

Just curious. I’ve seen lots of barbs thrown at newcomers here on FR-—it happened to me.

When is one no longer considered a newcomer ???

"Putin is not America’s friend. Because that’s not his job."..."but many here on FR as I said, have no friends in either government..."

Excellent summation on your part.

*shrug* Every side has its propaganda. Plenty of what our side feels, for good or evil, is the result of decades of propaganda. If it were always the result a sincere repulsion for the totalitarian neo-aristocrats it would work much better. But there’s still a lot of mindless “them equals bad, and stupid” resulting from indoctrination making things a little bit harder than they should.

Just remember one thing: for all the “Nazis are evil” we all know from like, ever, they were an extremely talented and successful evil bunch. They had strong men, heavy machines, pretty girls. We were supposed to hate them, think they were ugly and stupid, lest their attractive distracted us from beating them. We probably didn’t have a real chance to sit down and think “yeah, they’re cool and all, but I don’t like their tyrannical ways”. The Powers That Be (TM) weren’t taking that risk. Personally, I think taking that risk is the only thing that matters. Believing “they are bad” is useless without feeling “yeah, they have a good side, they’re awesome in a lot of things, maybe they’re smarter, stronger or whatever, but I DON’T LIKE THEIR OPPRESSIVE WAY OF LIFE!”.

“Putin fans do not love freedom, they love tyrants who take people’s freedom away.”

Joe, it sounds like you are describing what the Obama administration is doing. Seems to me that we are becoming more and more enslaved while Russia is getting freer.

Shades of gray, my FRiend. Most things aren’t that simple.

We have judeo-Christian beliefs to shape our morals and we have the Constitution and the federalist papers/anti-federalist papers to inform our political opinions. With those two resources, we can usually arrive at good decisions. A good exposure to history and economics can also better inform our opinions of world events.

To: right way right

The left-leaning MSM in the U.S. painted George W. as being dumb.

I'd take that so-called dummy over Valerie Jarret and her puppet-boy pResident, right about now.

People such as the Hildabeast (though not presently in office) even more than her Bent One husband, squander what intelligence she may have--- on believing her own lies, and making up more of those to cover for the previous. That's called crossing a golden line-- NEVER belief your own bullshit. Know what the actual truth is, and keep an eye on that.

Of course for many Democrats (not all, perhaps) seeing truth is near impossible, for it can be ugly...while it's much easier to just shake fairy dust and magic words at it, to make the ugly go away...

They (the Democrats now in executive office, the whole damn crew) are all liars...as is Putin (for the most part) and his boy Yanukovych, the racketeer.

Now if Putin could find a way to throw Yanukovych under the bus...offer that guy up in trade for a cleaner future for Ukraine..?

Naah...that is not likely to happen. It's too difficult. Putin's political Party will keep up the charades and continue to support Yanukovych and further division within Ukraine, while Valerie Jarret will remain three steps behind all the lies, and in wa-aay over her and Obama's heads. They hardly have a clue...

Global politics and business blends (potentially nasty stuff, that blend) are not understood by the current U.S. pResidential Admin. They think they can talk at "it". What morons. It's like trying to talk to the "little head", when that one is on alert.

Yes. If Obama and Kerry, along with Jarret, actually had a clue, they'd be shutting their mouths other than speaking in refined diplomatic terms, while spending hours on the phone with people like Dick Cheney and Condoleezza Rice asking for their input, while making further inquiry of those two who else should be consulted as advisers, before proceeding much further.

John Kerry, flying in with offer of a billion dollars? What kind of stunt is that...? It would just wind up in Russian pockets, too...so one should "get something" from those people, other than just shovel money out the window.

If more mature analysis could be made...where the interests of the Russians better evaluated and understood (despite the present lies they are telling concerning the Ukraine -- hey people, get over it, look down the road, instead) then perhaps discussions could go from there...

But no. We get Amateur Hour, instead. Even I could do better, and I'm no one special.

However, no matter the mistakes made, there comes a time when you have to confront the monster you created. Putin is that monster. That time is now. God help us.

We are in no position to fight the Chinese, let alone the Chinese and the Russians. The west is economically imploding. The progressives have decimated our military. Europe is a basket case overrun by Islamic radicals. And the Germans get half their energy from the Russians. You do not go to war from a position of weakness, if it can be avoided.

There is a reason why the EU Kleptocrats and US Oligarchs are using Islamic Terrorists, the Muslim Brotherhood and now Nazi thugs to do their bidding. And there is a reason why those tactics are causing major problems.
