The CT cop told him, “I cannot wait to get the order to kick your door in.” This comment comes on the heals of another story in which a CT Lieutenant told a woman over the phone that she was anti-American

Someone should ask these Conn cops to explain why it took them so long to enter a school where kids were being slaughtered while their heroes waited outside.

Thug with a gun.

I hear that Putin needs more mindless thugs to occupy countries which would be more suited to this a-holes mind set.

They will run out of SWAT guys before Connecticut runs out of guns.

A woman with a hyphenated name is saying -

“I’m keeping my daddy’s name AND my husband’s name”

and they think they’re keeping “their” name.

If the bad is reported, so will the good:

A showdown is developing between a sizable number of Connecticut state police officers and the politicians who passed into law highly restrictive gun control, gun bans, and bans on high capacity magazines.

Gun rights legal expert and activist David Hardy reported Friday that 250 law enforcement officers in Connecticut have signed an open letter stating that they will not enforce the new anti-gun and magazine laws, which they consider to be a violation of the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

According to Hardy,

Tyler Jackson has emailed me an interesting story, soon to appear online (I’ll link to it once it does)— the gist is that the head of the Connecticut Peace Officers’ Assn has released an open letter stating that the police will not “be party to the oppression of the people of the state by enforcing an unconstitutional law.”

So far 250 LEOs have cosigned the letter.

Another friendly neighborhood Peace Officer.

I live in town, and got some of the scoop n the guy last night. Traffic cop, gives out a lot of stupid tickets for turn signals, cell phones, etc. and loves to bust kids for jumping off the town dock when it's hot out. Oh, and gives kids tickets for not having lights on the bikes.

Well actually the salutation of Ms is typically used by us women who have been married and are now single. Miss isn’t really appropriate and neither is Mrs. It’s not a conservative or liberal thing.

...Meaning, are more people fed up and willing to stand up to tyranny now as opposed to then?....

I’d say off hand tyranny is here and now...not something that may come in the future...

So far 250 LEOs have cosigned the letter.

I think that all those signatures were from "Staties," and 250 represents just about 20% of the total number of State Police in CT. That's good but 51% would be decisive. Now, what about the local yokels?

So while they can't keep up with REAL crime, they are going to use their sparse resources to kick in the doors of 100,000 otherwise law abiding citizens who are no threat as long as they're left alone.
Makes no sense.

I have a purely theoretical academic question: Will a .308 penetrate that combat gear those storm troopers are wearing?

Hey, they will be "just following orders".

I never want to hear anyone bad-mouthing the Nazis from this time forward. It's becoming quite clear that Nuremberg was a kangaroo court.

Branford is a shoreline town located on Long Island Sound in New Haven County, Connecticut, 8 miles (13 km) east of New Haven. The population was 28,026 at the 2010 census.

One pleece chief
2 captains
4 lieutenants
6 sergeants
6 detectives
31 orificers
7 supernumerary orificers
10 dispatchers
4 clerks

57 cops, and 14 support staff, for a town of 28,000? This is about the size of a small company in the US Army.

Wonder if they're expecting some sort of invasion?

No wonder taxes are so high all over, if it’s like that in other places that’s crazy.

That’s a lot of law enforcement for a smaller town, are all the citizens there criminals? Geez.
