Look, Israel can pack a nasty punch, but they are not end all be all. They can’t play on our level; hell, socially they have a problem taking out muzzie trash when it is desperately needed (not saying we are any better with our meh-hee-can problem).
What happens if there is some sort of nuclear device on board and the plane is shot down?
If there is going to be an attack on the US using this aircraft, the NSA had better hope they sniff it out beforehand or all of their assses won't be worth a plug nickel. Perhaps they can divert their attention from spying on We The People long enough to do their proper jobs.
It goes splash or splat and the immediate area needs some extra protective gear to enter.
I can see a scenario where rogue Pakistani military arranged for a place for the aircraft to land and be hidden.
If my theory is at all correct, we won’t hear from the aircraft until the Hajj in October. It will re-emerge as one of many aircraft doing charter flights to Mecca. From there, it could easily reach the eastern seaboard of the US.
I think they make and modify a lot of great high tech gear too. The are very strategic thinkers and will not let their guard down. Israel is about the size of Rhode Island. The have to make sure their fate is in the hands of their own people. The Israelis appreciate the USA. But know they have to do their own protection in the finality of the day.

How much of their missile defense is protected? Since a lot are mobile, I don’t know about their protection. I hope you are right, BTW.
I agree. Not hard to imagine AT ALL.
That would all depend on the winds at the time of the blast. For maximum effect a hurricane coming on shore would be best for them. But the timing would have to be really really good as hurricanes are notoriously unpredictable and the sortie would have to begin hours before the attack.

There are a lot of ideas.
Attack the Hajj to provoke war.
Provoke Israel to shoot down an airliner with 239 innocent muslim pilgrims.
The thing that got me thinking about Hajj was an ad for a well-used 747 said it could be ready in time to use as a charter for Hajj.

Ever hear the story of the trojan horse? Planes can be painted. Electonic signatures (transponder) can be faked and all its gotta do is fly over parts of Iran, Iraq and Syria. Not exactly your ADC gold standards.
They need to be on high alert that’s for sure. Now that the US has deserted them and the Soviet Union (formerly known as Russia) is growing in strength, Israel pretty much stands alone.

You need a code, a flight plan and clearance to enter U.S. airspace, too.
