Also, there are unconfirmed reports Obama may spam a slew of not too friendly emoticons on Dimitry’s Twitter account.

Ukraine: mischievous alarmism?
Concluding remarks:
With that, the feeling is that Putin has gone about as far as he needs to go, and will go no further without more provocation. Whether the western nations understand this remains to be seen, but there is no indication from today's Council meeting that the EU has learned any lessons.
It is still moving ahead with the signing of the political provisions of the Association Agreement with the Ukraine on 21 March in Brussels and had confirmed "its commitment to proceed to the signature and conclusion of the remaining parts of the Agreement which together with the political provisions constitute a single instrument".
Whether Putin decides that to treat this as provocation is anyone's guess but, with the Russian strategic position having been secured by the return of Crimea to Russia, he may think that enough has been done. If the situation does calm down now, therefore, it will be no thanks to the EU.
Sanctions...one of those are...they can’t come to the USA....duh...like they would?
As with the Community Reinvestment Act, banks have come to value highly non-intervention from Executive Department examiners.

World renowned gold expert Jim Sinclair is worried about the crisis in Ukraine. Sinclair says, Welcome back to the cold war that can get hot overnight. It appears President Obama has brought back the Cold War, and Sinclair contends
On possible U.S. sanctions on Russia, such as excluding them out of the international payment system called the SWIFT system...Already, the BRICS nations are developing their own SWIFT system.
On Russia countering Western sanctions, Sinclair says watch the struggling dollar and Russia accepting any currency for oil and natural gas. Why in the world would anyone want to pay in dollars if they can pay in their own currency? Russia could retaliate in a way that would have phenomenal impact on the U.S. dollar. . .
The Obama administration is also contemplating creating trollish hash tags. Obama did say “there will be costs”!
> I heard Obama has threatened to unfriend Putin on Facebook.
Putin must laugh himself to sleep every night. When you country respects the leader of a formet enemy more than they do you there are serious problems...
You mean fight to the last Pole
But would Polish troops fight Russians in the Baltic states? The big question is what will NATO do when Putin moves on the FSU NATO countries. Today’s developments only encourage Putin. Putin invades Ukraine proper outside of Crimea in Kherson and the kenyan issues a travel ban!
I believe Poland is the only EU country of size that would actually fight the Russians over Eastern Europe. They’d be better off leaving NATO now instead of relying on empty promises. Poland should tell the Germans you better deal with Putin because we will fight. The prospect of a major war on their doorstep might just shake the Germans out of their bankster induced coma.
> I hate to see this, its like a six year old picking a fight with a serial killer.
I like that...lol

Yankonovich was elected and is still President as far as I can tell.
They have, and both countries have been dumping U.S. treasuries and buying a lot of gold.

Just as soon as John "No Balls" Boehner is replaced by a true Conservative as Speaker of the House.
Or the people of Ohio wisen up and stop re-electing him, which ever comes first.
What we have going on in Washington DC and its corrupt to the core culture is why I say VOTE THEM ALL OUT - (R) AND (D) ALIKE!
Some think that'd give Nancy Pelosi the House at Republican expense.
Maybe.
IT also means Republicans get control of the Senate while getting rid of Mitch "Harry Reid's Bitch" McConnell and de-fangs Harry Reid.
Dunno about you, but I think I'd take that trade-off.
Interesting perspective thanks.

@Rogozin Maybe this is Washington’s revenge for all those joke you made in the past, in particular while @NATO
Growing up during the cold war and considering the deep admiration I have for the strength Reagan and Thatcher had in fighting it, I find it hard to believe myself poking fun at the president of my country now. But I guess it keeps me sane (some might disagree that I ever was sane).
That property does not belong to Russia; it belongs to Russian billionaires. Putin would love this to happen because this would prove to all Russians that their money should be kept and invested in Russia.
