Truth is, all I need to know about the subject (any subject) I read here at FR.
It's not that this is what people want for news, it's all they are being fed.
Maybe so, but it is certainly a captivating news story. At the same time, though - you can clearly see it’s dying down now.
True. Today (sadly), it is more interesting (and important) what the "news" media are not reporting.
The tech today is mind boggling, while you sit on a park bench they can read your news paper from space. They all know whats going on and they are not revieling it, why? Using this as the fuse to start a WW? Tatoo could find this plane!
Hmm. I hadn't noticed.
Of course, I haven't watched TV in 15 years.
Because we care about the people on the plane.
It is a fascinating mystery and we like mysteries.
David Copperfield isn’t involved.
Possibility of terrorist action or wacked out individual Moslems on a final journal to hell (like the Egyptian pilot).
Just morbid curiosity.
And in a meaner vein, hoping that the Khardashians, The Housewives of wherever, Miley Cyrus and MSNBC talk show hosts (present and past) are on the plane.
The media?
Does anyone here really think that the controlled consolidated media is intended to inform any of us of anything of worth, and that which will make us more free, more united as a people, and more secure in our skin?
Their only role is to smack down those that they can call out as bigots or racists, and make others afraid to say anything that is not in line with the politically correct Stazi thought police that own the Democrats.
Someday Americans will figure it all out and just how these elites have stolen our freedom and rights all so they can enhance their profits and political power.
If the media elite spent their time giving us the true unadulterated scoop on anything instead of propaganda I’d be surprised. They run an urban agenda intended to put down most Americans.

It’s the natural evolution of a story - even if it is an extremely captivating story like this one was. If there is a major revelation, it will pop back up in the public’s attention for a short while again - but never again at the level it was before.
I think is is a fascinating mystery with many twists, turns and possible outcomes. There will be a movie made and several books will be written about it.
I am also capable of following this story as well as the others that come and go (or stay) every day.
Everybody relax and do what you want.

Sure keeps the focus off cancer patients dying from 0-care, d-rats losing elections and sinking poll numbers.
It’s so outrageous that nobody would believe it. I’m not convinced it isn’t sorass covering his boy king’s fall.
I remember the unending coverage of the Iranian hostage crisis. I know it was important, but after awhile, it kind of drove me nuts.
There’s been more media coverage of this than there has been coverage of all the Obama scandals combined.
But if it were a Republican president then it would be an entirely different story.
I for one, am sick and tired of the democrat media F***heads.

People love a good mystery — TWA 800 dominated the networks for months — this isn’t even two weeks old.
Anyway the little black box has a little over two weeks of pings left — when it quits pinging so will this story and the media will move on to the next story.
I have the uneasy feeling that this will look like the Chandra Levy furor of late summer 2001 in a short time.
