If a driver collides with me while they're texting I hope I'm this sane and rational...

Some people can actually handle such multi-tasking. Then again, it only takes one screw up to permanently tarnish one's record.

I don’t even know where to start. My post would be a mile long if I could write the way I feel about texting in general and texting and driving in particular. Add to that people who are obsessed with having a screen in their face from the time they wake up till they go to sleep at night and people that cruise in the left lane for no reason and people who refuse to use turn signals and wait until the car in front of them is 50 yards ahead before leaving a light and overly cautious slow drivers in general and......

And another thing; when stopped at a light, why do people inch up every few seconds? Why do they do that? Just sit there and wait. Quit it.

Driver was texting, and drove through my car.
It blew up and badly burned one of my girls.
If a driver is texting and causes an accident, this should GREATLY aggravate the charges to something like 10 years in prison.
If they KILL somebody they should be executed.

I think self drivng cars could be a good thing, I trust a computer to drive a car more than someone who is blathering onthe phone or texting...

Congratulations. You might have just destroyed the evidence that the driver was texting. On top of that you'll be hit with theft of the cell phone if the other driver wants to press charges.

Nawww, the card is still there. Vandalism, maybe. Judge might slap her wee-wee, but I doubt it.

To activate the road sensors so the light knows to change.

Sorry, but he should be charged. He's lucky he didn't get shot. Very risky approaching the car in that manner. Don't ge me wrong, the texter is an idiot!

Every car? ten cars back?

Road sensors are magnets in the ground. You are either on them or not.

[ people that cruise in the left lane for no reason ]

That resembles me....

I stay in the left lane if I am going more than 2+ miles down the road instead of weaving in and out of traffic like a lunatic.

Of course I keep an eye on the rear view mirror if I see someone comming up on me like a bat out of hell...

And move over as needed.

I practice situational awareness, unlike 90% of the drivers out there....

I have had people honk at me at intersections, especially red lights when I am in the right lane and refusing to take a right on red.... But only in intersections with a blasted red light camera, I have gotten “flashed” for taking a right on red, if the person behind is pissed off that I am waiting to take a right for a green light they can complain to the city council for putting the nanny state red light camera there in the first place.

He would be, except I noticed the arm he pulled the phone from was not an Amish arm.

Have you watched other Russian dashcam videos? Meteors, cattle trucks flipping in traffic, bears, etc. etc. Just about anything can happen on a Russian road.
