There is no question the killer was a nut, but a nut with a particular sexual obsession. He lived in a culture where sexual failure is despised. You may disagree but something made him the kind of nut he was.

I read he was in therapy since he was 8 years old. I doubt he was entertaining “sexual failure” at 8. He was whacked...plain and simple.
