Last week (on June 10) President Obama said that the world is as safe as it's ever been. I even saw a video clip of him saying so.

This week, in the throws of a terrorist militant insurgence, the threat of the fall of Iraq's cities and its elected government is so severe that Iran is not only moving arms and military assets into the country, but, for the first time, contemplating a cooperative joint effort with the United States to stave off insurgent jihadi forces.
There are strong indications that the weapons stockpile transferred from Benghazi at the time of the attack on the Special Mission Compound, have found their way from Syria into Iraq via ISIS.
