Blue Privilege, actually.

Ok, only joking with that, but I'd guess that a LOT of these donations are coming from cops (active, retired, former) and cop families.

They know he's going to be railroaded, if even a small chance exists that he'll be convicted.

These donations, which I'll state up front that I unequivocally support of, and approve, should scare the living hell out of every law-abiding citizen, particularly those in high-crime, high-risk areas. They show where the COPS are standing on this matter. And if this guy does get railroaded I'm betting that a lot of them (particularly those in high-crime, high-risk areas) are going to show a decided disinterest in active policing methods, etc. As a matter of self-preservation.

Can't say I blame them.
