O’Reilly’s Response to State Department Smear is LEGENDARY [WATCH]
The Sentinel of Liberty ^ | 09/09/2014 | Michael Cantrell

Posted on 09/09/2014 3:51:51 PM PDT by SentinelOfLiberty

Who doesn’t love Bill O’Reilly? He’s witty, charming, sarcastic, and has just a little bit of that pompousness that makes the guy borderline adorable, in a non-homo kind of way.

He also tells-it-like-it-is, and he’s pretty darn good at it.

Unfortunately, these characteristics are not fully appreciated by State Department spokesperson Marie Barf Harf, who has been taking every opportunity she can to throw the conservative powerhouse under the bus for criticizing one of her female colleagues, a move she labeled “sexist.”

Of course, it’s pretty dang hard to take any claim of “sexism” or “racism” serious from a liberal, as they have a tendency to throw these sort of terms around like the boy who cried wolf.

After a few thousand times of hearing the same whining and crying, you sort of shut down and block them out.

Well, it seems O’Reilly decided to pull out his rhetoric pistol and fire a few shots of his trademark wit, sarcasm, and good ole fashioned common sense right back at Ms. Barf. Oops. I meant Harf. Can’t for the life of me figure out why I keep doing that.

Yeah, the Hillary post was mine. And O’Reilly was such a coward that when I contacted the show to prove to them that he lied about the post, he went into hiding.

The funny thing about the post was I never said Hillary should be assassinated. I created a fictional situation where a lunatic left winger does her in because she wasn’t far enough to the left.

My End-of-Bill moment came when he double-crossed the woman trying to get her daughters back from Saudi.

Then, of course, there was the infamous Loofah Affair.

O’Reilly has a nasty habit of trying to denigrate and write-off groups who he doesn’t agree with, the Swift Boat Veterans for the Truth About John Kerry, being one such organization.

The Swifties (I was a VN journalist who worked on their book “Unfit for Command”), via leader Adm. Hoffman and John O’Neill, didn’t take any crap from the liberal media and told the real truth about Kerry’s Vietnam embellished and made-up history.

Lurch couldn’t take it because it was beginning to reveal his whole leftist, me-me, history so he got the liberal media to protect his lying ass, and unfortunately, BOR bought into their characterization of the Swifties as disgruntled Viet vets with a political agenda.

Only Kerry was allowed to have a “political agenda” and lie about his service, without being challenged by those who served with him.

Both the book “Unfit for Command” and Unfit’s editor Scott Swett, plus Tim Ziegler’s follow-up research book, “To Set the Record Straight”, nailed Kerry and his asskissers lie after lie, embellishment after embellishment, and falsified history after falsified history.

You know the results. Kerry lost when the truth came out despite all the coverups by the Boston Globe, NYTimes, Wash. Post (except for one reporter’s significant attempt to arrive at the truth, only to have his editors squash follow-up articles that would have sunk Kerry once and for all - writer was Michael Dobbs).

One of Kerry’s top aides and mouthpieces should still be in jail for the possession of child pornography (Wade Sanders), a really despicable and desperate person.

Two other crewmen who served on the same boat that Kerry eventually commanded, turned out to be liars in their claims that they served with him (they did not).

The mainstream media never reported their recantations when confronted by the truth/documentation that they never served with him.

O’Reilly is windbag, self-promoting “populist” who always has to be right. Challenge him and you are called names and denigrated, an old Saul Alinsky tactic that BOR has adopted.

He does some good, some bad, and some junk. With the Swift Boat guys, he dissed hundreds of very brave, and very modest sailors, most of whom served 3-4 times as long as Kerry did, and got real Purple Heart wounds in combat, not from rice in the ass, a bruise, and a scratch.

That my friends, is the real story, one that O’Reilly will never tell you.

It really is bad form to excerpt your own blog. It's pimping for hits.

re: I’ve heard him and know where he stands on EVERYTHING, so I watch him only once in a while.

I watch him often and wanted to write last night. I’ve never written before, but I’ve seen him in person so I guess I’m a fan as well. But lately I change the channel a lot, so I thought maybe I’d write.

I’ve often thought I’d write
Not to give advice
But either Waters grows up
Or I give up
I’m tired of the nothing the uninformed have to say

It’s at that time I change the channel
And anticipate the start of The Kelly File

Hummmmmm... maybe I should actually send it now that I wrote something out. Obviously I’m tired of Waters World... It was funny at first, to see how little people know. But now it just makes me sick and I literally change the channel.

I could really careless who does or doesn’t like him. I’m not a huge fan, and most of the introduction was meant as entertainment, you know FUN...something that most conservatives seem to have no concept of...News doesn’t have to be dry and AP style all the time.

I don’t agree with Bill often, but when it comes to this, I think he has a point.

I don’t expect anything. I’m just trying to build something. Part of building something is using good business sense. If I give away all my content here, then no one ever visits the site. It isn’t terribly hard to figure out.

Now that being said, what’s wrong with building something and making money off of it. As a capitalist, I think that pretty much lines up with my values.

Also, I want to write about what I’m passionate about. I do this for my “day job” as well and get paid quite handsomely for it. If you don’t think this is how the big boys do it, then you aren’t as smart as you pretend to be.

I agree with your take on Levin. That guy truly is epic, on almost constant basis. While I laid the rhetoric and sarcasm on thick for the intro, O’Reilly does get a lot of things wrong, but I felt this was justified.

I do agree, he’s a little late to the party. Sort of like his recent admission that Obamacare was socialism. Took him long enough.

What I meant by my “no homo” comment was called humor and rhetoric, skills that take wit and intelligence, something that most of your comments on here sorely lack, though you do try rather hard and I guess those individuals who put forth their best efforts deserve some type of reward....if I were a commie which I’m not, so I guess you’ll get nothing...something you might be used to receiving on a nightly basis.

Anyhoo, I don’t post my full content because I’m in the process of building a blog that I’d like to turn into a business at some point. In order to do that, I need to build a readership. I hope you follow me here, given that this is so difficult a concept to grasp.

I have a day job that pays me handsomely for the same type of work. I enjoy it. I enjoy it because I believe in what I do and I want to spread the message of freedom. Something I thought people here would get behind, but I could be mistaken.

I’m not typically this much of a jerk, but when someone mouths off to me, I’ll dish it right back.

"I’m not typically this much of a jerk, but when someone mouths off to me, I’ll dish it right back."

Could have fooled me. Looks like being a jerk is something you achieve with practiced ease.

Now that you've admitted your purpose in excerpting your own writing, I've got a flash for you, n00b. FreeRepublic does not exist as a promotional tool for your blog building.

FR is supported by the contributions of her loyal members. They don't contribute their cash so that you can build your business. Just so you get this message with perfect clarity, I've pinged a small welcoming committee to greet you. I'm also including a quotation from the founder and owner of this website, Mr. Jim Robinson, who has repeatedly weighed in on this subject.

"I have no complaint if a good conservative blogger posts his own material to FR, not as an excerpt to drive hits and discussion back to his blog, but rather to impart useful information to OUR readers and to promote and join in on the discussion and conservative activism HERE on FR."

(You can click on the comment for the complete quote, in context.)

Oh, one more thing ...

"What I meant by my “no homo” comment was called humor and rhetoric, skills that take wit and intelligence, something that most of your comments on here sorely lack,"

I am devastated by your assessment. Would that someday I may rise to a level of verbal acuity that approaches your own. Pray for me.

I confess to detesting the man.

If you detest him, I wonder how you feel about our twice duly elected POTUS.
