No legal way. But, the may very well save themselves.
Do Senators and House members vote on local issues?
The answer is no. They vote on national issues.
As such, I’d like to know what national issues are important to these GOP
Senators and House members before I vote for them.
Will they vote for Amnesty? Will they cut spending? Etc.
Hey man you are making yourself look too mountainmanish.
Then again as they say, “when someone is happily digging themselves into a nice hole, do not interfere”.
Carry on my man.
Ok but that doesn’t change the fact that all of the prediction services out there have shown a decreased likelihood of a Republican takeover in the Senate. I’ve noticed it in individual state polling over the last couple weeks. Republicans have been losing steam, Democrats have been gaining. The point of the article wasn’t what the Washington Post said, I could have just as easily cited Nate Silver.
There are issues that matter locally more than nationally. For example, farming holds a much greater sway in Iowa than it does in New Jersey. A candidates position on coal mining matters in West Virginia, it matters not at all in Florida.
