Liberals ARE “undisciplined children”.

While I understand ScottinVA’s reaction to the photos, I think he fails to realize the slippery slope trajectory of this whole affair.

What I am conveying with those photos is the fact Peterson ALREADY went down the slippery slope from discipline to outright abuse. That seems to be the point the pro-switching crowd fails to grasp. Even some of the pro-switchers reluctantly agree Peterson went too far. My question is... what prevents a repeat of this sorry episode?

> Liberals ARE “undisciplined children”.

That’s exactly what they are. People who just never grew up and accepted responsibility.

I demand that Anheuser-Busch and Radisson immediately fire any employee that has been accused of domestic violence or any other type crime. For that fact every company in America.

“He admitted it was overboard, but I do not see it as a felony.”

He is a serial child abuser. He has left physical and mental scars on his kids that will never go away.

This is a bloody shirt moment for the libs against parental rights. They don’t care about the child; they just want to take custody of the children.

“They don’t care about the child; “

Do you care about them or do you want them to continue to be abused by Peterson?

I think your question will be answered soon. The NFL will be investigated. Soon, all types of widespread child abuse will be 'outed' beyond just the NFL. It will become a media obsession. Congressional hearings will start. New legislation will be passed regarding child abuse, with a lowered threshold of evidence and definition. The government will soon be the sole arbiter of child discipline.

Yeah I suppose 99 years in jail for that is sufficient. He admitted it was overboard, but I do not see it as a felony. If you want to live in that society where it is, then reap those benefits when they come for you.

Exactly. I am confused why people think there would not be some marks left from this type of discipline. Peterson said at the time he went too far, but I bet it was done before that became obvious. If one were to use this approach to discipline (which I personally would not, but is quite common), there would be visible signs afterwards, clearly. The situation is being make more provocative with the repeated use of 'scrotum', when they is most likely incidental in the process.

This new era of photos and video being used to let the public be judge and jury before the legal system acts is absurd and dangerous. Now we have the same mob mentality here. There's a damn good chance this gets settled with a probationary punishment or other minor result. If it goes to trial, I'd bet on non-guilty.

The idea that Peterson is penalized so severely without any due process is so over the top.

Here's another one of his children by another woman: some_text That mother reported the incident to Child Protective Services. http://www.tmz.com/2014/09/15/adrian-peterson-second-child-abuse-investigation-houston-minnesota-vikings-nfl/ It wasn't too long ago that Peterson had another child that died because of the abuse of another man. The media was having all this sympathy for Peterson but he didn't even know the child. If I recall correctly, he had only seen the child once. General Mills needs to get that POS off my Wheaties boxes.

Everyone is not born with good parenting skills. This guy is a single Dad who it appears has never lived with the baby mama’s as a family unit. He’s pretty much a bachelor who see’s his kids partime.

I don’t think he should go to prison but I do think Peterson needs a hard reality check and should be forced to attend parenting classes and it sounds like he has some anger issues. He can’t just keep beating on his kids every few months. If a great big NFL footballer can’t get the attention of his kids with his presence and maybe an open handed pop on the butt once in awhile he’s just not doing it right.

Meanwhile Planned Parenthood and California schools are encouraging teens to engage in BDSM, choking, spanking, etc to to learn about safe words because they’ll say “’no’ doesn’t always mean ‘NO!”.

Our culture is royally f***ed.

I agree... no prison this time. But if it occurs again, he needs to go down.

PP did not learn very well from the switch whoopings he got as a child. If he had, he would not have a pile of children with a pile of women scattered all over the place. Is there no one is this man’s life who cares enough about him to teach him to keep his thing in his pants until he is ready for the commitment needed to have children? And what of these women?

The NFL could do the world a favor and start screening their potential employees based on morals. I bet you would see some behavior changes trickle down.

After I reread my post and pondered it, I had a good laugh at the thought of the NFL, college football world, and even high school football world dealing with the morals and what not of players. Hahahahaha. You should hear the dads of talented six year olds and how they berate their sons for not wanting to be clobbered and tackled every day of the week. It is crazy for sure.

The networks and the league tried so hard to make Peterson appear to be an honorable man. He’s a POS.

Peterson is not a husband or a father. He’s a sperm donor with baby mamas and offspring stashed in various locations. Recall he learned of one of his “oat plants” just last year, mere weeks before the child was beaten to death by the mother’s boyfriend. What he does represent is the complete collapse of the family among the blacks, and the near collapse of the American family in our society.

My father whipped the three boys with a brown leather belt. My mother hit us with a wooden spoon and washed out our mouths with soap. Only my sister was spared the severest punishment. My parents had the right, because we were a stable, and yes, loving family. As only an occasional presence in his offspring’s lives, Peterson does not have the right to administer corporal punishment.

“however, he crossed a line when he whipped that kid like he did.”

Exactly. Discipline does not involve thrashing a young boy’s scrotum. A parent that does this on purpose is a sadistic monster. A parent who does it ‘by accident’ in an out of control beating frenzy isn’t much better. Plenty of parents discipline their young sons without beating their scrotums. Why anyone wants to minimize or excuse this behavior is unfathomable.
