Conservatives Need be Wary of Democrat Ground Game

democrat ground game

In an election climate in which issues favor Republicans and polls indicate a potential GOP landslide, conservatives need still be wary of Democrat skullduggery and its impressive ground game. The trend of 21st century politics shows that issues and national sentiment have taken a back seat to get-out-the-vote efforts, particularly given Democratic Party reliance on voting constituencies that pay far less attention to the issues and are less up to date on news and current events. Despite having a solid advantage on the issues, the Republican Party risks seeing its hopes for November glory washed away by busloads of Democrats "useful idiots" carted to the polls on promises of government freebies, marijuana and in some cases, direct payment.

According to recent Federal Election Commission data, Democrats have out-raised Republicans in key battleground states and hold a significant spending advantage. Despite its incessant rantings about the corrosive nature of campaign contributions from the likes of business and the Koch brothers. Democrats have raised massive amounts of cash from Unions and liberal billionaires and are poised to overturn conventional wisdom and historic trends of losses for the Presidential Party in six-year midterm elections.

Despite witnessing a 2012 Presidential election where Democratic Party turn out turned what polls showed as a tight race into a near re-election landslide for President Obama, it appears officials at the RNC still have not developed a full understanding of technology and the importance of organization in the modern political era. Resting on its laurels of a dominant late 20th century get-out-the-vote strategy, Republicans seem content to fight 2014 wars with 1990's weaponry against a Democratic Party void of intellectual substance but strong on technological know-how. Republicans by now should have developed a very strong respect for the Democrat ground game.

In the four crucial Senate races of Iowa, Alaska, Colorado and North Carolina, Democrats have to date outspent Republicans more than 10-1. In four races in which control of the US Senate may very well be determined, Democrats have spent $10.8 million on staffing, voter registration and get-out-the-vote operations against only $835,000 by Republicans. While polls show that Democratic Party candidates in these states are failing to capture the attention and support of independent voters, the significant organizational advantages the hold threaten to overshadow this by being able to turn out throngs of ill-informed, but reliable, Democrat voters to cast ballots for candidates they would otherwise not recognize if not instructed to support.

These ominous signs should make all conservative and Republican activists recall election night 2012, when the confidence of Karl Rove and Dick Morris soon turned into mocking ridicule from liberals in the media as the GOP supposed "expert" microdata turned out to significantly flawed and "Golden Boy" technology consultants couldn't even get robocalls working effectively. What even independent pollsters called a neck and neck race turned into a night of triumph and chest pounding for Democrats and embarrassment and soul-searching for Republicans. As we fast forward two years, there is little indication that GOP leaders and strategists have rectified the situation.

So while the tone of the national debate tends to favor conservatism, with the public at large far distrustful of government that at any time in this century, Republicans have no need to be confident. Democratic Party leadership has consistently shown they will stoop at anything if it provides them victory at the polls. The Progressive-left was quick to jump on the Michael Brown shooting in Ferguson, Missouri to mobilize black anger as a means to register more voters. Numerous reports out of Pennsylvania and elsewhere showed collusion between the New Black Panther Party and Democrats in attempts to intimidate white voters who may have gone against President Obama. In Florida they are pinning the hopes of Charlie Crist and other down-ticket Democrats to a medical marijuana initiative, hoping to duplicate the success the party had in turning traditionally red Colorado blue. Even in solidly Republican Texas the Democrat ground game has shown itself effective in using the most nefarious methods to turn out voters for its candidates, as evidenced by the recent indictments of liberal operatives for handing out cash and cocaine in return for voter support of candidates. Although this scandal resulted in prison sentences and a suicide for leading local Democrats, the candidates involved in these crimes were elected into office and as a result gave control of the Donna, TX School Board to that bunch.

The American people have overwhelmingly shown in polls a desire to slow the spread of an intrusive and incompetent Federal Government and return power to the people, states and towns who made this nation the envy the world. Americans have grown tired of the bloated sense of elitism of Washington DC and the emasculation of the individual. While this is very the much case today, all of this will be for not if the Progressive-left power structure of the Democratic Party continues to win crucial elections and as a consequence further drives feckless Republican leaders to the center. Should the Republican Party gain control of the US Senate, and more importantly make significant gains in the control of statehouses, not only will this set the stage for a conservative Presidential candidate in 2016, but could possibly provide for a Constitutional Convention by invoking Article V of the US Constitution. Although the national mood is in their favor, conservatives need be very wary of the Democrat ground game lest we see a repeat of election night 2012.

The GOP needs to be concerned about alienating their base.

The ground game and fraud.

If not for those two, Romney would be in the White House now. And despite the naysayers here, America WOULD be better off if that were the case.

Karl Rove and his fellow consultants don’t make 15% advertising commissions on ground game efforts.

Grassroots efforts = No money for Rove.

Wasted advertising buys = Money for Rove.

The Dem ground game is fraud.

But it is also vast army of union (mostly government unions) workers who get PAID to get their vote, while GOP has to rely primarily on volunteers for its GOTV efforts.

In addition, (and here’s where the fraud comes in) the Dem vote in this country is HIGHLY CONCENTRATED in dense urban centers. These precincts often have few , if any Republicans, and little or no bipartisan oversight supervising voting at the polls. And most of these precincts are in cities dominated by Dem controlled political machines and their union allies making opportunities for election fraud and cheating virtually limitless. Look no further than Cook County among other places.

Too late. "We will crush them wherever we find them" McConnell saw to that.

++++
Not entirely.

As the article points out, the Dems are the masters of Get Out The Vote Technology. For example, they have learned how to Vote Though Dead and have made great strides in implementing their Vote for Your Neiighbor Program.

Hmmmm. Maybe that’s what you were referring to.

The GOP needs to run fake candidates like the Dems do, under the guise of running “comedy” candidates. And they should run the most insane moonbat liberals they can find. Which shouldn’t be hard.

I've said this before, we saw our last 'honest' national election back in 2008. Every institution, every government apparatus has been corrupted, transformed and perverted.

You cannot vote out tyrants and oligarchs, this article cites a few reasons why.

Americans however refuse to recognize reality, because Normalcy Bias has infected nearly everyone.

Article is spot-on.

Here in PA they’ve got ground troops walking about knocking on doors and making phone calls like I’ve never seen before.

The teachers unions have cranked it up to 11. They can smell Corbett’s blood in the water. They expect Wolf will not only “fully fund” their boondoggle by taxing the shale frackers, but will also shut down as many charter schools as possible.

They appear to be doing the same in Michigan, Wisconsin and wherever else they’ve got their knickers in a twist over the Pubbie Governor.

Of course they stay off my porch cause by now they all know that I’m their Friendly Neighborhood Right Wing Extremist.

Obama's constitutionally indefensible Stimulus Program funds at work no doubt.

How about filing suit when that “ground game” produces more Democrat votes than eligible voters? Voter fraud should be exposed and punished.

To my recollection, there has never been an election overturned based on voter fraud.

So, why shouldn’t they?

The goal is to get as many of them elected as possible,
and fraud accomplishes that. They can worry about the minor consequences and still accomplish their goal.

Because we don't have union slugs willing to take orders like mind-numbed robots.
