Traffic in St. Louis’s Shaw neighborhood came to a standstill on Thursday after demonstrators protesting the shooting of a black teen killed by a white off-duty policeman blocked streets in the city’s Shaw neighborhood. The shooting Wednesday of Vonderritt Myers Jr. came two months after the shooting of Mike Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. While Brown was unarmed, authorities claimed Myers had a gun and shot at the off-duty officer before the cop retaliated with fatal gunfire.

---snip---

Thursday marked the second day protests erupted in St. Louis. Washington Post reporter Wesley Lowery said St. Louis police officers used different tactics in overseeing the protests than the authorities in Ferguson, who came under criticism for using tear gas, rubber bullets and other methods to disperse protesters...

This is not Ferguson and this is not their neighborhood.

South St Louis is a lovely and mostly white neighborhood.

THE SHAW NEIGHBORHOOD

My grandparents lived not far from here in an impeccable area that used to be called 'scrubby dutch'.

They need to send these people home.

Protesters took to social media to invite people from nearby Ferguson, Mo., the site of August’s shooting, to join in

I found myself watching a live feed of this late last night/this morning. The chick running it is from ‘occupy oakland’.

Someone said to her ‘get a job’ and her response, “this IS my job”. Bout fell off the couch laughing. As moments later she was asking for donations ‘cuz doing this ain’t cheap so you all know I’m a single mom...blah blah blah’.

These poor people have truly been sold the ultimate bill of goods. It is horrible to witness the utter lack of decency as they seem to believe there is none in this world.

‘They’, by which I mean the people who are blindly supporting thugs, are fighting to take away the right of whites to self defense. I see no other logic. ‘They’ protest a man defending himself from Trayvon’s beat down. ‘They’ protest Gentle Giant brown trying to take an officers gun (imagine the storm if the police have dash-cam footage and release it). Now ‘they’ are defending and supporting a man who shot at police officers. All three dead, all three attempting to kill white people.

People here have called me out saying it is only a few bad apples and that the vast majority of people in Ferguson and SSL don’t support the violence and rioting. Well, they do. They have created an environment where this behavior thrives.

How about going out and getting jobs, you parasites?! The taxpayers who pay your bills can't afford to be out protesting, looting and rioting all day and night because they have to be at work the next day.

Can't hardly blame them - the illegals walking across the borders get better treatment - they can shoot and our "enforcers" are supposed to run away instead of shooting back....These poor minorities are getting the dirty end of the stick.(do I need the "/s"?)

>>Hundreds of years of slavery couldn’t destroy the Black family and their dreams to better themselves, but mere decades of welfare statism did just that.<<

Most slaves came from the West Coast of Africa. Mozambique is in the southeastern part of Africa.

more slaves went to brazil than America too but the libtards ignore that fact. these looters need to be rachael corried.

I know they don’t think this deeply,

but is that truly what they think would be “right”?

For them to be able to steal, kill, and destroy,
and law abiding people not do or even say anything about it?

There’s a dude in a Black Pampers beret, and a kinda white looking dude with a camera.

Outside agitators? Riot Makers? 0bama operatives?

Maybe?

Actions (and cover ups) speak louder than words - seems that many liberals (and politicians who claim not to be liberal) consider themselves so far above the law that they shouldn't ever be harassed by those who object to their "antics".
