Well, we agree on one thing...
About live frogs ... my daughter’s class had to do that. Unfortunately she and her lab partner screwed up pithing their frog somehow and the teacher had to put it out of its misery.
She was kind of traumatized. Had really enjoyed the class up to that point.
wut?
If that destroys the meat industry, so be it. If Disney has ruined us that badly by the anthropomorphization of animals via Bambi et al, we’re done for.
LOL in Springfield, MO when my son was in 4th grade I went with his class to a “working farm” park to teach the kids how people lived when they settled the country. Wasn’t colonial but close. The kids made their own soap, ground corn, milked a cow, and beheaded a chicken.
When the kids get to college the university biology classes use cats for dissection and when all is done they grind the remains in the large (I hope) garbage disposal. I worked in the maintenance department office and had to periodically call the plumber to unclog the sinks. Save the animals! Kill the unborn humans!
dissecting cats is sick
and we are talking about minors, parents permission should be required.
Reminds me, yup, put the frog to sleep and when it is opened you get to see the heart and lungs working. I suppose future surgeons could have done some repair work.
They did give permission... Here’s my kid, teach him biology.
Human genitals are not to be displayed publicly and although I love steak, when Jesus rules the world the prophecies tend toward the curse of eating meat (from the time of Noah’s flood) being lifted and everything and everyone is again a vegetarian. Until then...
That what the gay porn films were for
Animals aren’t fallen so all are going to heaven. They do at times sacrifice themselves for their owners (dogs and horses have, only heard about 1 cat doing it) but using animals for testing, dissection, or training for emergencies has to be done. I can’t see this being done without permission.
Maybe people are missing the point of my objection.
These teachers are not their parents, they are government employees, and they should not be doing stuff like this without parents permission.
and they did not have permission, it wasn’t even supposed to be part of the class.
