To anyone who has been paying attention, it should be obvious by now that America is hardly a family-nation of diverse people united by common values. In fact, bitter divisions among the American people are the rule rather than the exception, with racial disharmony among the most divisive.
In 2008, many liberal pundits hailed the election of Barack Obama as a positive sign that racial barriers between black and white Americas were finally starting to give way to a spirit of cooperation and healing.
Unfortunately, those high hopes from six years ago have been dashed and replaced with even more strident posturing on both sides. The unity that Obama was supposed to usher in has failed to materialize, and America is actually more divided along racial lines now than when Obama took over the presidency in 2009.
A major part, but not all, of the problem is that Barack Obama has proven to be an arrogant elitist who is dedicated to changing everything in America owing to what he sees as the “Legacy of Racial Discrimination,” a term he used to partially justify the violence and riots in Ferguson, MO following the grand jury decision not to indict police officer Darren Wilson.
In Obama’s mind, established American mores and values must be torn down and replaced with values more favorable to people of color....

“Reparations” will never come to pass. The race hustlers need the issue to stay relevant.
If Obama thinks HE has something to atone for .. then HE can use HIS own money .. and not the taxpayers.

In some form, they will....then the "an inch/mile" thingie will kick in, perpetuating the race-hustler industry. These guys gotta eat, but not necessarily pay their taxes.

Obama has plenty to atone for but his ego firewall is too secure to let his brain realize it.
That would sure be a bridge too far. I can’t imagine even the most docile sheeple standing for this. Talk about goring everyone’s ox!
I thought reparations was what the Pigford program was all about.
