Putin’s economic policies are centralized state control and corruption with defunct economy riding on oil and gas revenues. It is a mafia state. In Heritage economic freedom index Russia is ranked as “mostly unfree” at 140th place in the world out of 178.
You pretty much nailed it.
I would only go one step further to say it is not only muslim immigration that people are getting fed up with, but also with all sorts of other third-worlders that are nothing but a burden on Western societies.
Stop confusing Putinistas with facts.
The contrast is: Russia is an oligarchy with no love for Islam or homosexual activism.
America is an oligarchy with lots of passion for Islam and homosexual activism, indoctrinating the world about Islam as a “religion of peace” and imposing the homosexual agenda around the world.

It’s a stretch to claim that the United States somehow supports terrorism through Saudi Arabia. We look the other way with them, but we’re not supporting their machinations. It’s also a stretch to blame everything on the Saudis. According to KGB/FSB defectors, the Muscovites even have their paws into Al-Qaeda and many other terrorist organizatiosn across the world. It is the Russians actively supporting and even creating terrorism. From a previous post of mine:

Being sentenced to death in Egypt for terrorism and hunted by Interpol, Ayman al-Zawahiri, in 1998, was in the territory of Dagestan, where for half a year he received special training at one of the educational bases of the FSB. After this training he was transferred to Afghanistan, where he had never been before and where, following the recommendation of his Lubyanka chiefs, he at once ... penetrated the milieu of bin Laden and soon became his assistant in al Qaeda.
FAKT: Could you hint at least, where this data comes from?
A. Litvinenko: I can. During my service in one of the most secret departments of the FSB, top officials from the UFSB of Dagestan, who had directly worked with Ayman al-Zawahiri ... were called to Moscow and received high posts.”

That's ridiculous. In Russia, youngish looking conscripts are raped by their officers and often blackmailed and sold into sexual slavery, and this protected by the regime. As for Islam, this absurdity has already been well covered in other posts.
You are trying to compare the United States, a country in the middle of a culture war, with Russia, that started the culture war to begin with, and is a country worse than Sodom.
