Speaker Boehner's non-confrontational attitude is enabling President Obama to implement his socialist policies and regal fiats without any Congressional restraints
As Speaker of the House and leader of the House Republicans, John Boehner promised he would fight Obama’s Executive Order on immigration “tooth and nail.” Yet, soon thereafter, he strong-armed Republicans to push Cromnibus through the House of Representatives to fund Obamacare and Obama’s amnesty. A few items funded by the Cromnibus are shown below to give you a taste of how spending is done under the direction of John Boehner.
Since spending bills originate in the House of Representatives, the Speaker of the House has a lot of control over spending.
Although Mr. Boehner had a 33-vote majority (201 to 234) in the last congressional session, he was loath to confront Democrats on any issue ever since the MSM blamed Republicans for an October 2013 government shutdown. (Despite the fact that the GOP won big in the next election!)
