Confirmed: Obama Watched NFL Playoffs Instead Of Going To Paris

January 12, 2015 Confirmed: Obama Watched NFL Playoffs Instead Of Going To Paris By Thomas Lifson You won’t find it in the American media, but the U.K. Daily Mail has obtained confirmation from an administration spokesman that President Obama spent much of yesterday watching the NFL Playoffs (as I speculated).

According to an administration official, President Obama spent part of his Sunday afternoon watching a National Football League game on television. In fairness, the playoffs took place after the rest of the world leaders had marched, along with U.S. representation that stopped at the assistant secretary of state level and an ambassador who was a bundler for Obama.

It looks to me as though Secretary of State Kerry may realize that his absence was a mistake. But at least he had an excuse: he was in India on official business, though with an executive version of the Boeing 757 at his disposal, he could have pleaded emergency business and departed for Paris. Instead, he said:

'As everybody knows, I have been here in India for a prior planned event,' he added.

You can’t watch them across the Atlantic even on Air Force One.

Well said. The only good that Obama didn’t go is that he utterly has no sense of how to act at such venues. Guaranteed he would be making a ass of himself again, grinning, waving, and taking selfies.

And I mean that in all seriousness. He’s a national embarrassment.

I am willing to bet Air Force one could indeed stream every single network broadcast from mid-Atlantic. Childs play in the era of satellite coverage we have today.

What better way to grab the spotlight and the countless comments regarding this event? By not showing its face and giving no reasons...what subject is the most talked about today? Ba-roke oboma and his absence. Because this wasn’t about ‘him’, in this way he has MADE it about him in a rather devious manner. The twisted mind at work.

I don't understand the fixation by so many conservatives with this idea that the President of the United States has some kind of moral obligation to attend a political rally in a foreign country ... especially FRANCE, of all places. WTF?

I think that's a lot of nonsense, especially the comparison to an impromptu appearance by the U.S. president at the site of a terrorist attack in the United States. You'll notice that there wasn't a single foreign leader anywhere to be seen in those photos at Ground Zero.

As I said a couple of times yesterday, I think it's a safe bet that Ronald Reagan wouldn't have been caught dead marching with a group of world leaders at a political rally like that in France.

The only purpose of that rally was to score political points for leftist leaders in European governments. That's why Maxim Le Pen, the leader of France's right-wing nationalist party, was excluded from the event. Quite frankly, that's the one reason why I was surprised Obama didn't attend.

Weather was too bad to go golfing, he had no choice. He certainly wasn’t going to make any kind of gesture that might be critical of Muslims.

"...upholding Dez Bryant’ catch."

Realize, however, that there would be NO CONTROVERSY about Bryant's 'no catch' call IF the Refs hadn't picked-up 'the laundry' towards the end of the Lions/Cowboy game the week before.

Imagine the level of damage (devastating enough as it is) that this Obozo Clown would be doing if he wasn’t so damn lazy.

LOL are you kidding? Of course there would be.

After listening to shlups on ESPN defend the call (not the rule) I retort with this: It was a ****ing catch, period. A ref who wasn't being a moron like John Roberts upholding Obamacare would have chosen not interpret the rule like a homosexual retard.

>It was cool seeing what? 3 million people marching without burning stuff up.<

.
It would have been cooler if we had seen half a million of these people enter one of the Muslim no-go zones.

It would have shown that they were not afraid of the muzzies.

By staying away from these enclaves, the crowd showed just the opposite.

Yes I guess it would but it would provoke them. At some point they won't need any provocation. The gutless wonders who think we can live peaceably with them acting like they are superior with their ways in a host country will have it all blow up in OUR faces. And our loved ones getting raped and killed. And our cars and homes being torched.

Europe is waking up but no one has the balls to put them in their place before it is too late. Same with us.

Obama would find a way to kick the rest of us out rather than offend his precious Muslims and illegals.

It would have shown that they were not afraid of the muzzies.

Individually, people are afraid of them. That's why they pussyfoot around them. Same with blacks these days.

By staying away from these enclaves, the crowd showed just the opposite.

I guess I didn't about that. Most people aren't going to care. It was good for one news cycle. Now we have moved on. Huckabee thinks Obama shouldn't let Beyonce influence his daughters is the news this am that I've seen so far and I came here first for a change.

NOT REALLY because the Cowgirls would not have been playing after losing to the Lions.
