I can well imagine a newspaper in Germany making the same joke about then Chancellor Adoft Hitler taking over as dictator and everyone laughing hysterically.. and if they didn’t the Gestapo would haul them off to a concentration camp.

The left’s humor is always a bit stilted. It’s STRICTLY designed for the koolaid drinkers.
They remind me of the guy who butchers the Polock joke in Raising Arizona: How many polocks does it take to change a light bulb? Five, because they’re so stupid.

That really is what I used to think of when I’d listen to Air America. It was beyond dumb. But since they were making fun of Bush or Rush, etc. They thought it was high comedy.

It is funny, but not as funny as the reaction will be from the conservatives, Republicans, and Libertarians. The socialist Democrat party will be banned from the new republic.

That it is - they’ve convinced themselves of their superiority and so of course their humor would go right along with it.
Just recall the snit the left went into when Reagan made the joke:
“My fellow Americans, I’m pleased to tell you today that I’ve signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in five minutes.”
But THAT’S Different the left will say..

This author DID write a piece in the New Yawker a week ago exhibiting the vastly superior and intelligent sense of humor all libtards share, with the punch line being something along the lines of the republican controlled congress is an extremist group...
If there is NOT such an executive order, then why would the possibility be so easy to believe?
And isn’t that something kings used to do REGULARLY when they thought the parliament or legislature was not behaving “correctly”?
