A waiter has posted a check online, which he claims was from Valentine's Day. On it, a lengthy, angry note is written, telling the waiter that he was "stereotyping" his customers by assuming he would receive no tip. Therefore, because he stereotyped them, he received no tip.
The bill came to a sizable $163.40. Next to "tip," two lines were drawn through indicating that the waiter would receive nothing extra. The explanation was on the back of the receipt...

I have a daughter who was a server. She is definitely not a racist but has told me that MANY blacks are low or no tippers.
Like they were going to tip otherwise? Please!
Yet another stupid minority trick.
Just because someone came in a restaurant after you does not mean they can’t finish their meal first, get their bill, pay their bill and leave before you.
There are a dozen different factors that come into play with who receives the check first. The waitress porbably doesn’t even remember who came in first if it was busy. More than likely, the “white” table finished the meal more quickly, or the “black” table had extra drinks or dessert. It could be something as simnple as the “white “ table was closer to the waitress station.
The only people perpetuating the stereotype are the cheapskates who assumed the worst.
Missing from the story: the “caucasian couple” just ordered desserts, ate quickly, and left while the (apparently) black couple dawdled over their meal, never asked for the check, and only received said check when the Maitre’d got tired of them tying up one of his tables.

It’s definitely a “cultural” thing.

They looked all meal for an excuse to save $30 or so on the tip, instead of paying attention to each other, and they didn’t find it until the last minute. It’s a shame these racists couldn’t just enjoy their meal and tip honestly.

Love the “never trying to make it a racial issue”.....lol...but, we’re going to make it a racial issue!
Maybe the ate really fast and asked for the check to be brought out once their food was delivered...like they had another event in the evening planned and wanted to get there on time....I’ve done that lots of times...
to the couple who didn’t leave a tip (get a life — take the tip and go down to the corner and buy some common sense!)
Looks like the stereotypes are true - Blacks don’t tip.
little by little - they get the reparations back that they wanted for so long...every penny counts!
$32.68 down the drain. Blacks make lousy tippers historically. The size of the bill indicates 6-7 patrons. That size takes longer to serve. Just because table B is cleared before these classless morons, is no indication of racism.
