We Need to Create Fear in Republican Leadership (vanity)
vanity | 2/27/15 | Mamzelle

We don't have time to put together a third party, but we can threaten to go on STRIKE. We need to threaten to vote against Republicans if they continue to refuse to represent Americans rather than Mexicans and foreign billionaires. To work, they'd have to believe it. They need to take the threat seriously. Lose the base and lose your power.

I will not vote for Jeb Bush. Let's vote against RINO Republicans in the general, not just the primary.

Their arrogance is just breathtaking. McConnell is treacherous and duplicitous. Boehner can't be trusted. And Lindsey Graham thinks he has even a tiny shot at the presidency? They HATE him in SC, but the SC GOP keeps stabbing Republicans in the back and sneering--"So, you're gonna vote for the Democrat?". Harpootlian is great friends with Graham. Graham gets his money from trial lawyers and energy corporations.

OK. I'll vote for the Democrat.

It’s one thing to say that you’re going to do this for yourself, but if you want any real impact, you’re going to have to get a large percentage of the voting electorate to go along with you. Of course, that’s always been the problem ... not that “you” are not voting the right way ... but that no one else is ... :-) ...

Replace “fear” with “vacancies”.

Better now.

This is when Sam Adams and other patriots would be burning effigies in the front yards of those like Boehner and McConnell. They are more afraid of negative media than they are of going against the will of their constituents. That needs to change.

I have to say I’m sputtering mad. don’t know if I could bring myself to vote for a democrat, but I would seriously consider the independent/libertarian candidate. I threatened to change my voter registration before, but I’m finally done with them. Next week my three grown sons will follow suit.

If enough people do it, maybe it will send a message. If not, well, we’d better get used to bending over.....

If they haven’t gotten the message by now (the Romney c-f) then I doubt they are bright enough to get the message.

We’re on our own.

If Jeb is the nominee, no way am I voting for him, but no way in HELL am I ever voting for a Democrat, even if it’s a “protest vote.” Not after what those skunkbags have done to this country!

The only way that an individual peasant like us... or even a small army of them, could put fear into these elites would be to actually do things that would get you arrested, or even shot on sight by their bodyguards or police.

For decades I have laughed at naive conservative people who said; ~’Well, we will elect the RINO / D.I.A.B.L.O., but we will hold their feet to the fire with letters and phone calls, so they will vote the way we want’.

The only way for a non-billionaire to ‘hold their feet to the fire’ is to literally hold their feet to the fire.

Write in your preferred conservative on election day. I will if Cruz is not on the ballot. Plus, I will only vote for conservative candidates at the federal, state, and local level.

Oh, and I am not advocating that anyone actually do anything I said above.

And if you want to “go on Strike” (I did long ago) please do so.

But do it for yourself, in the ‘John Galt way’; Don’t expect the politicians and power brokers to care. Until the vast majority of producers and innovators completely remove themselves from ‘the system’ it won’t make them do anything differently.

I agree with LegendHasIt.

I just posted this in another thread:

“I think we are over the cliff at this point but I’m going to give it one more election to see what happens. Hopefully a Cruz missile.

Otherwise - a coup or war. We have to start seriously thinking, talking and preparing for war people.”

Oh - and I don’t vote for republicans any longer. I only vote for conservatives.

If it comes down to a big government, globalist, RINO vs. a communist, muslim loving, pervert Rat, I’ll vote for the Dim. Better to burn the house down quickly at this point.

I couldn’t bring myself to vote for a democrat; I get your reason, and mostly share it, but I just can’t bring myself to register approval to their platform, even to bring about the ‘Let It Burn and hope a Phoenix rises from the ashes’ renaissance that I am certain is the only way to fix what is wrong with what this nation has become.

Meant above to add that if there is not someone who represents something close to my views on the ballot, I’ll leave that race blank.

“I will not vote for Jeb Bush.”

Me neither or Crispy. That’s my line in the sand. I don’t care if the devil gets elected President I’m not voting for Jeb. Might and well just tool up CWII and get on with it.
