So - My beautiful (10 year old) BMW was just totalled by a young woman who ran a red and hit me. Totalled her car too. We both were fine. BUT .. when the ambulance came, they wanted to take my vitals and make sure I was ok. "What city are we in?" "Pasadena," I said. "Who is President," they asked me. "He who shall not be named," I laughed. "You don't like him?" NO WAY, I answered.
Get thee to a massage therapist once or twice in the next week before all the muscles get into a tizzy.

I believe it. My folks met her at a Navy function once and said she was warm and completely unpretentious.

Those are only good for about 30,000 miles. After that, you’d better be married to a factory certified BMW mechanic. /s
Took an airbag in the chest. Didn't hurt at first. After the ambulance ride I was in immense pain!
Totaled my 2001 Camry. It was paid for! Luckily I kept full coverage after it was paid off!
Man! Those airbags may save your life but damn they hurt!
When did that event happen? Was not it between 1953 and 1961?
Also, please ad a bit more to your description of the incident. What was their reaction to your summations? Did they agree, ignore or sneer? Did they add some choice summations of their own, or did the other person chime in in some way?

:( after 30 years in San Diego I had to move in order to retire. Miss the weather, the bus, the metrolink, the coaster, the biking to sorrento valley. I miss the sage, scrub brush, yellow mustard in the spring. I miss the hot Santa Anna winds and Carlsbad lagoon/beach and split creek fire mountain campground in Barrago. Ocean’s 11 Casino, Del Mar in August, 4th of July at Oceanside Pier. I miss the magnetic recording research facility at UCSD, Palomar Observatory in the Winter, I miss being sent to JPL, Sandia Labs and even the Church of Scientology in Hollywood. I miss golfing at Torry Pines, the swap meet at Jack Murphy Stadium, the Spaghetti Factory, the Gaslamp Quarter, the Trolley ... If I can ever find a few Million Dollars I would move back.
Well, I lived in Melbourne, Florida for awhile but the minor infraction I (inadvertently) incurred in Melbourne, AUS might have triggered the question now and again of where it occurred exactly. :)
