Too bad for them that facts are stubborn things.

99% of the people on this planet can “vote’ that the Earth is flat. This will matter not one whit to the FACT that our planet is anything but flat...

A lot of my family is Hispanic. And they are anti-illegal immigration, even the ones who voted dem in past years. Many Hispanics see the very real danger of the Obama immigration policies. And they are the ones who are posting on Facebook against it, and working hard to alert others in their communities.

Good. Anyone who is as ignorant as you are about this issue shouldn’t vote.

1)Latinos are pro-homosexual.
2)Latinos are pro-abortion.
3)Latinos want their energy bills to go through the freaking roof.
4)Latinos subscribe to eighteenth century European enlightenment rationalism and nineteenth century European materialism. And most importantly:
5)As one can tell by their name, Latinos are not Europeans who speak a European language, but indigenous pipples whose native Spanish was spoken by the ancient pre-historic Roman Catholic civilizations that flourished here for thousands of years before Billy Bob Columbus came over in his three double-wides.

Is that about it?

I just want to keep the constitution.

Amen to that. Sorry for jumping on you.

We've lost entirely too much of the Constitution already. I feel, from looking at Ted's record and not just his stump speeches, that Cruz is one of those who would do his damnedest to repeal the Federal leviathan and move us back towards a truly Constitutional Republic again.

Think of him as an FDR in reverse. A bit of Patrick Henry with some Thomas Jefferson tossed in.

He's legal to run and has Principles I can live with. As one of FR's long time "conservatarians", I don't say this lightly.

Barring someone better jumping, Ted's the real deal and the horse I could hitch a cart to.

Another member (or supporter) of La Raza wrote an anti-Cruz hit piece in USA today titled "Cruz not always so sympathetic to immigrants." From the article:

From barring undocumented immigrants from ever becoming U.S. citizens to remaking our immigration system into one that welcomes mostly university-trained foreigners, Cruz has made clear that he celebrates only a certain kind of immigrant

In other words, by "certain kind of immigrant," Cruz prefers those who entered the country legally to those who broke our laws and entered illegally, and he prefers those who can contribute to our prosperity rather than those who add poverty and crime. How radical and extreme!
