Conservative talk radio is dominated by several big names, but others in smaller markets have many fans, too. National or not, which conservative talk radio shows do you like the best? Which ones the least?

How would you improve, if you could, the shows you listen to?

Kudos, high fives, gripes, pet peeves--praise or vent, what are your thoughts about conservative talk radio?

I don’t listen every day and sometimes not even to the whole show, but when it is radio time at home or in the car these are my choices. I either listen live or in the case of W&J the podcast.

Brian Kilmeade
John Gibson
Tom Sullivan
Joe Pags
Michael Berry
Andrew Wilkow
Walton & Johnson

Too many commercials.

The Right Perspective is still on, it was back in the old days of the late 90's as well.

Levin is no #1. He supports his positions best and with the most passion.

Ratings are known.

Mark Levin is the most intelligent and conservative at the same time.

I like a lot of the big names, but sometimes I get tired of the same show style after a while. I like to add these (and others) into the mix:

Andrew Wilkow

Red Eye Radio - Gary McNamara and Eric Harley

Jim Quinn - longtime Pittsburgh host who had been syndicated and on satellite radio. Good conservative talk with a touch of morning show humor. Returning to the air April first!

The good and the bad:

Mark Levin - Best host for serious issues. Poor at comedy
Rush Limbaugh- All around great: Serious, comedy, callers. Too much self-promotion
Howie Carr - Entertaining conservatism. Too Boston
Laura Ingram - Good all around. Sarcasm can get old
Sean Hannity - Good for activism. Too much of a GOP cheerleader
Michael Savage - no thanks. Attacks other conservatives.
Glen Beck - Like the backup staff. Has gone off the reservation
Dennis Prager - Intelligent. Frequently doesn’t discuss politics.

1) Levin (but why does he feel compelled to verbalize approval of sodomites so often)

2) Rush (even though he sounds bored with the gig too often)

WISN in SE Wisconsin is wall-to-wall conservatism from 5am to midnight, M-F. No better news/talk radio in the country IMHO.

Jay Weber, Vici McKenna, Rush, Mark Belling, Hannity, Levin... You know, The Greats!!

If I were to rank them, I'd have to say:

1. Limbeaugh
2. Weber
3. McKenna
4. Belling
5. Levin
6. Hannity

1. Dennis Prager.-The wisest man in America. If more people heard him, especially immigrants, and the "all important" moderates, the democrat party would lose 30% of its ranks within 2 months.

2. Rush Limbaugh. Still the top dog, still does the heavy lifting, still dissects the daily news like no other.

3. (If he wasn't out recovering from Cancer) Michael Medved. Annihilates liberal scum like no other, and does it politely. Might be the smartest man on radio.

4. Mark Levin. Great for history and the Constitutional aspect. Unfortunately, on later than everyone else.

5. Glenn Beck. His show is far better than his radio show. This show is on the list because of his wide reach into almost every market and for the times he actually discusses things he discussed on his show, i.e. Grover Norquist (YOU CAN GET, FOR FREE, yesterday's and possibly today's GB TV shows on the blaze)

If we were counting Glenn's TV show on The Blaze , I would put it #1 or 2.

1. Michael Berry - Houston area but expanding to others. Anti the Gay Mayor and Sheila Jackson Lee. Not shy about expressing his opinion - exposes the Houston and Texas liberals for the world to see.
2. Levin
3. Pags
4. Limbaugh

4 - Dennis Miller

He is my number one.
Damn shame he isn't renewing his contract.
He's really going to live life from the inside out, I suppose.

Cheers Dennis!

2)Levin
3)Beck when he isn't preaching, prophesying, or proselytizing.
