My username says it all.

I boycott liberal companies all the time. If a company or it’s management come out supporting liberals, I cut them out as quickly as I can. I do this with insurance and many other things I buy.

Absolutely brilliant: Let’s boycott a successful, profit-heavy multinational company like ... oh say ... APPLE! Yeah, that’s the ticket ...

Exactly. That is why I refuse to buy from pro-homo/lesbian Starbucks. (That plus the fact that their coffee is putrid.)

Your username was one of the inspirations along with the stunning example of Cesar Chavez and how he mobilized a national boycott of grapes that was a game changer. (As a footnote, Chavez was adamantly opposed to illegal immigration.)

Directed focused energy is the key. In the manner of Chavez, demonstrate a lesson in people power by choosing one product that is the cash cow of a very big corporation, a company that bends to the Fascist Few. A spreading national boycott of the one product will crush their profits and change the paradigm.

I've done a certain amount of boycotting on my own. Admittedly, though, it's not always easy. Some companies have a lock on certain goods and services and there are times when I am forced to purchase from companies I don't like.

I'm proud to say I've abandoned JC Penney since the company decided it valued the business of a minority of perverts and sodomites. Obviously, others did the same since Penney's profits have been swirling the bowl. I notice now that the blatant courting of the LGBT crowd has subsided, however. Whether Penneys will recover remains to be seen.

On the other hand, I'm making a conscious effort to support businesses which have been persecuted for their religious positions. Chicken fil A, for example, always gets my business when I'm in the mood for fast food. If you have a boycott against businesses who are against your values, morals or religious beliefs, it makes sense to have a “buycott” of those businesses which have been maligned by the godless left.

Kind of hard for some of us to personally boycott companies when we don’t buy from them in the first place. Most of my friends make two purchases every week - gas and groceries. Both are made at Kroger because they are the least expensive for what we buy, give a discount to seniors on their store brand and they support the 2nd Amendment. OTOH, they do have a Starbucks in all their stores. But you can’t win them all. We just don’t drink their coffee.

Because we don’t spend much money on anything, what we have done is to circulate articles about companies - good and bad - to everyone on our email list and ask those people to pass the information on. Most important though, if we ask them to boycott a company, we do a search for an acceptable alternative for them to support.

If everyone does a little bit in their own corner of the world, it will add up.

If you’d rather support their political decisions with your business, nothing’s stopping you. It’s still a more-or-less free country.

The outporing of support for Chik-Fil-A was massive. We can do it again.

Yeah your user name says nothing....

Your idea of boycotts while amusing have historically not worked. You don’t even bother to pick a name of a company you would like to start with....gee should it be one of the oil companies? How about a grocery chain? How about a toilet paper company? How about big agriculture?

Hasn’t and won’t work

The choice of company and product is crucial for a concentrated demonstration of power. The fascist left succeed because of its old age strategy of setting an example for others to fear. We must set an example and teach a lesson for others to fear. Unified specificity is critical. One cash-cow product, one corporation, one mass boycott of the product.

That’s what this thread is about, brainstorming toward that end.

You apparently weren’t in California during the Chavez years. His boycott went on and on and on winning very few ‘victories’ but getting him all the left wing accolades he would ever need. He did nothing for the farm workers but he sure lined his own pockets.

Apparently you are of the same ilk...perhaps a troll

The company I currently work for has Starbucks as an option. I refuse to drink it.

Are you projecting?

Forget the personalities. One product, one company, a boycott. Conservatives get no respect. This is one way to regain respect and put the leftist pigs on the defensive.

You’re exactly right. Every little bit adds up.

Warren Buffet sort of came out in support of Obama. I know I don’t have much impact but Geico can keep sending me stuff in the mail but it goes in the garbage. He also owns Dairy Queen. I surely don’t need that.

AARP sends me stuff in the mail all the time. It goes in the trash.

I used to have Progressive Insurance. I later learned that their Chairman was one of the democrats biggest contributors. I sought out a better deal and dropped them.

I saw where Sonic contributed to liberal causes. I certainly don’t need them either.

Some guys I work with will stay at Choice Hotels — not me.

I like how you guys circulate the emails. That’s a good way to let others know where not to do business.

It takes a little time on this site but you can tell where a lot of the money is coming from for candidates ... http://www.opensecrets.org/
