We have all known this since Obama began his tyranny. The left has its greatest influence when it is out of power and criticizing authority. When it becomes authority it desintegrates in paroxysms of authoritarian dogmatic excess.

The face of Leftist failure was on stage last week at the congressional hearing of Sec. Leonhard, chief of the DEA, who testified she could not fire the DEA agents who were whoring with prostitutes furnished by the Columbian drug lords. It’s a sensible guess that this abject dunce was hired because she is a woman and some crony gave Obama a big campaign donation…possibly the drug lords themselves.

“Righteous exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” Proverbs 14:34

Unrighteous makes people stupid. It does it by tricking you into thinking that your fallen nature is capable of rational thought and your motives are pure. Satan makes sure that there is always real cheese in the mouse trap. “Come to me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart and ye will find rest for your souls.” - Jesus

Try putting a 300 pound Che on a t-shirt. Or get inspired by Obama lazily playing golf.

Good one.

Before you know it, no one remembers why there was a revolution or how to get rid of it.

One is reminded of Mexico and 50+ years of the "Institutional Revolutionary Party."

Yes.

50 years seems to be the lifespan of the “revolution”.

Although the USSR made it to 80.

Russia had some historical “infrastructure” going for it, which the Soviets were able to cannibalize. A very good case can be made that Mexico has never been a successful country. When a place was never “together,” its “falling apart” is not so dramatic.

The Soviet Union and the People’s Republic of China crushed Communism more decisively than Goldwater could have ever dreamed of.

...

A few years before Reagan was elected. Kissinger was telling everyone that Communism had won.

Communism and totalitarian governments are an evil that keep springing up. It’s a form of government that appeals to murderous sociopaths like Castro and their mushy headed liberal sychophants. They must be fought and defeated.

“Western thinking has become conservative: the world situation should stay
as it is at any cost; there should be no changes. ....
The communist regime in the East could stand and grow due to the enthusiastic support
from an enormous number of Western intellectuals who felt a kinship and refused to see
communism's crimes. And when they no longer could do so, they tried to justify them. In
our Eastern countries, communism has suffered a complete ideological defeat; it is zero
and less than zero. But Western intellectuals still look at it with interest and with
empathy, and this is precisely what makes it so immensely difficult for the West to
withstand the East.”

That is true. The Tsar even had his own secret police...so the change wasn’t so drastic...one tyranny for another.

Although, “I don’t think that Nickolas was a very bad man...just a very bad tsar” (quote from Dr. Zhivago)
