Move over War on Women and "internalized racism," the Left has a new catchprase: "internalized capitalism." That's the new buzzword that's being bandied about by the left over the last few months.
Haven't heard of it yet? The website "Black Girl Dangerous" has this quick definition:
"Because of internalized American capitalism, I accept that there is only so much love and appreciation to be handed out, and more of it will go to those who perform well. There are so few resources for people of color, period. Not to mention our vibrant intersectional identities and creative work."
And, according to other liberals, it's also "the root of all jealousy:"
For whatever reason, liberals on social media are taking a liking to the phrase, even though it's little more than leftist mad libs:

Her definition makes no sense. “Internalized socialism” would be all about dealing with limits, not capitalism which insists there are no limits. What a generation of morons we are creating.
vibrant intersectional identities?
You say you want the money, but don’t want to work for it.
To me, that means that you don’t care about your future, so let’s just sit down and see how ‘we can forfeit that’, together.
Equal and opposite reaction. The people who are crying about internalized capitalism have internalized laziness.
Liberals INSIST on subsidizing/rewarding immoral behaviors BECAUSE they are immoral (by Christian definition).
If I was too stupid and/or lazy to work and so shameless I did not mind living off the labor of others, I might try to figure out an excuse, too.
There used to be an old saying, “Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.” That is precisely what these morons are doing. Personally, I like the Apostle Paul’s point of view: “Those who will not work should not eat.”
Those who will not work will not eat,
and
those [men] who are of low character will not have sex.
The second one is implied by a lot of other proscriptions,
but the two together lead to a civil and productive society.
Freedom and private ownership of the means of production under the cultural influence of reason are real goods that are necessary for gaining wealth. All of these are necessary for living the life proper to a rational being. Capitalism is the social system based on the pursuit of rational self interest in the above context. Since these are all objective values, there is nothing wrong with internalizing them and acting upon them.
Works for me, but our culture has it completely upside down these days.
I thought it was colored before Negro. Anyway, you forgot “People of Color” which doesn’t seem a far cry from colored people.
Well, the reason that the leftist influenced culture has those upside down is because there is a moral component to “work ethic” and especially to sexual comportment.
The left despises the idea that immoral behavior has natural consequences.
Otherwise known as noisy, out of control, bullsh t.
Oh, THAT’S right...
Why do I read so much about stupid people? Are they the only ones that make the news?

I think it’s just a word that’s supposed to make the cultural characteristic of “getting used to economic freedom” sound like some kind of pathology.
Kind of like saying that when you read to your kids before they go to sleep at night, you are “disadvantaging” other children who’s parents are downstairs smoking pot and playing video games.
I could not agree more. Obviously, the Golden Rule has not been taught in schools for many, many years. Very simple and very powerful. But seemingly MOST people care not a tiny bit how their behavior affects others. How could you, then line up for an abortion or blow someone away for their tennis shoes? Makes me hurt inside to know that something I did hurt someone else or caused them trouble. Few think that way anymore.
??????????????
So when you ask these people what that’s supposed to mean, they can huff and say something like, “See, that’s your problem....”
I’m still trying to digest “gender-fluid”.
No, wait a minute, that came out wrong.
