A Subway sandwich shop worker whose social media posts about Saturday's killing of two police officers in Mississippi sparked outrage online said her comments were misconstrued — and now she's being threatened.
"They took the status the wrong way," Sierra McCurdy of Laurel, Mississippi, told NBC News Monday.
McCurdy wrote the Facebook post following news of the fatal shooting of two officers, Benjamin J. Deen, 34, and Liquori Tate, 25, during a traffic stop in Hattiesburg.
"2 police officers was shot in hattiesburg tonight…GOT EM," read the post, which also included a crying-laughing emoticon and a gun emoji.
"They took it the wrong way," McCurdy said, as she explained that her comment referred to the suspects, not the cops, and that she intended to use the crying emoticon instead. Three men and a woman were quickly arrested and charged in the shooting....

What was missing from the NBC crappy article, is her actual tweet, which just cannot misunderstood. Just to make sure there is no misunderstanding, she had another tweet: (Another post said “Police take away innocent people lives everyday now & get away w/ it , f—— them . . . (no mercy),” according to the New York Daily News.)
That second part was also conveniently not reported by NBC “News”.
Well its not like Fox can crawl any deeper in the tank for RINOs, libs, gays and Muslims than they have so I don’t see much change happening.
Pick any ‘conservative’ there, watch for 1 week and see if they do not take liberal positions in that time.

I’ve not seen Escape From New York. I was thinking more along the lines of the Serb-Croatian urban battles. Those that could left before major hostilities, and those that couldn’t got a great lesson in being prepped.
Your analogy of the movie, to modern “post-racial” America, is probably very accurate.
The one good thing is if the rubber ever meets the road most libs are true visceral physical cowards and really don't have the guts for a real battle. They are plenty vicious and scheming in a low arrogant sort of way but nothing would strike more terror in them than normal Americans engaging in mass civil disobedience (and note CD is not specifically pacifistic it is using numbers to leverage power from the state). That Bosnian situation is one of the things that really amazes me about Americans. ‘we’ think that it can’t happen here. So did the people there and yet it happened pretty quickly and in a relatively ‘modern’ society.
I would say that he is the KING rino there. There isn’t a RINO yet I haven’t seen him make excuses for and pretty regularly.
Sure one week he bitches up a storm about say immigration and illegals. But when it’s a low eb on that subject, he will have one of the Biggest RINOS on the subject as a guest and totally avoid the topic, calling them “My good friend”.

We all want to believe that there’s someone in the media, ANYONE, that thinks like we do that we ignore a lot and don the rose colored glasses. No one is immune from it. But at the end of the day, reality has a way of crushing our illusions.
Other than Steyn, who seems pretty solid 99.9% of the time, some say Daniel Greenfield, maybe a couple more, there’s not a lot to really put serious trust in out there.

So many people are just filled with hate. She provided a good example of one.
We have like 4 bridges along about a 100 mile span of desert. If anything, the Mohave will stop most of them before getting to the river. That and the ferals on the roads robbing the escapees should help considerably.
It is a definite must-see, made before it was illegal to show minorities in a negative light in theaters (though there are plenty of white criminals as well). NYC is simply walled in, the bridges are mined, and serious criminals are basically deposited there to live out their lives in the world they created. Air Force One goes down inside the city, and a criminal (Kurt Russell) is sent in with the understanding that if he rescues the president he gets a pardon.
The breakup of Yugoslavia was a mess; the differences weren’t just ethnic but religious as well. Oddly enough, the allies that built it as a reward for fighting on the allies’ side in WWI (and made Serbia’s king their first king) would attack Serbia to break it up again 75 years later...
Krauthammer is a neo con which means he is at least interesting to read or listen to whether one agrees with him or not. He is a reminder of ‘liberal’ pretty much meant circa 1960. The leftist were, however, just lying low waiting for people to forget their Soviet loving era and have a event which Viet Nam provided the left rats to misconstrue and misrepresent on a grand scale so they could ooze back into the seats of power.
The sparks to start the conflagration are emanating from the White House. It can happen. Here. Very quickly. I’ve the fortune of living in the sticks, with no need to go to town. I detest holidays. I can make a card for special occasions, but vegetable blooms and corn tassels, means less harvest, an’ a pissed-off wife.
