After publishing our guide to America’s most popular beers, many people asked us to take a look at the rest of the world. Our curiosity piqued, we set out to find every country in the world’s most popular beer. The map below brings together dozens of sources, from research reports to corporate filings, to reveal the most popular beers in over 100 countries. As you can see, the beer brands of the world are as diverse as our planet itself — though a handful of massive multinational brewers own a staggering number of these brands, which we’ll be exploring in the future.

I'm afraid to look. I expect that America's favorite beer isn't really a beer. More like a lite of some kind.

Having been spoiled by German beer while stationed in Germany, I now go with a brew that most closely tastes like Deutche Ale:

Foster's Ale, it's Australian for Be'eerr.

Don’t look. It’s a sex in a canoe beer.

Just so no ones confused the Budweiser they drink in Canada is nothing like the Budweiser that’s consumed in the states.

That's what I worry about. It's not just near water, it's not even a real beer flavor.

Canada ... Budweiser?
Don’t think so.

My money would definitely say it’s between Old Vianna,Molson Canadian or Labatt’s Blue.

I have consumed many of them in their respective locales. So many beers, so few days in a life.
I am appalled at our country’s taste preference. Bud Light is like sex in a rowboat: It’s f’ing close to water.

I will give credit where credit is due. I don’t seek out Budweiser, but won’t refuse it if offered. You can buy a pack of it anywhere in the United States, and it will taste the same regardless of the brewery it came from. They get it consistent with every batch at every brewery millions of cans/bottles/kegs a day.

I've got Shiner Bock in the fridge for marinade beer.

For drinking beer, it is usually something new and seasonal.

I have been known to dip into the marinade beer, though... to marinade the cook.

I should have finished my studies at the Bud Light Institute. s/ What really my eyes pop Bud was that popular in canada. LOL I guess everyone was tiring of those anti American ads by Molson.

I’m fortunate enough to live where I can enjoy an endless supply of Alexander Keith’s IPA. At least I hope it’s endless.
