Boys, move the goalposts.
If you’re having trouble keeping track of all the promises, threats, and “red lines” that Obama has applied to Syria and Assad, you’re not alone. There have been so many that things tend to get confusing. However, one constant through it all has been a warning that, if the Assad regime uses chemical weapons, it would trigger a US military response.
Now we have widespread reports of the Assad regime deploying weaponized chlorine gas. So, if you’re a President who’s absolutely terrified of backing up his own proclamations with actual action, what are you to do? That’s right. You move the goalposts.
Pressed by a reporter, President Obama made it clear that he was responsible for Assad giving up his chemical weapons. This, he claims, has delighted the people of that region.
“My commitment was to make sure that Syria was not using chemical weapons and mobilizing the international community to ensure that would not happen. And we positioned ourselves to be willing to take military action. The reason we did not, was because Asaad gave up his chemical weapons.

This is beyond lame. It’s a very legalistic argument even rabid Dem talking heads will have a hard time supporting.

Obama went to a fancy college and everything. Surely he knows the answers to both questions.
His remark is somewhat like saying, right after we bombed Hiroshima, that “nuclear bombs are not ‘historically’ considered a weapon.
I’d suggest then that BO get a bottle of Clorox, a bottle of ammonia, go to the loo, mix them and see what happens.
Tell those that went through the Gas Chambers in basic training to get teargas then chlorine. If you know nothing anything can seem true.
Tell it to everyone you meet. Just make sure you attribute the statement to Sarah Palin. Then discuss. Then throw the switch and watch them die.
Historically, US Presidents aren’t considered to be weak to the rest of the world, but we’ve been cursed with one since 2008.

That used to be a fun game I used to play on democrat blogs. No matter the topic, I would agree with something someone would say and say “Sarah Palin said that too”, and step back in amazement at how those two words would instantaneously hijack any thread totally and completely

Hey Obunghole - get a good snootful of chlorine and tell us what you think then.
Tell that to my late great-Uncle who was gassed by ‘weaponized chlorine’ by the Germans in WWI and died a couple of years after the war.
Actually, chlorine gas is a diatomic molecule, Cl2, so it is a chemical.
