Is There “Collusion” Behind Judge G. Murray Snow’s Prosecution of Sheriff Joe Arpaio?

(May 23, 2015) In a 187-page filing made on Friday, Maricopa County, AZ Sheriff Joseph M. Arpaio and his chief deputy, Gerard Sheridan, asked U.S. District Court Judge G. Murray Snow to recuse himself from a contempt case stemming from a December 2007 lawsuit...

As a result of Arpaio and Sheridan’s filing on Friday, Snow canceled status hearings scheduled for May 29 and June 12, although he asked all parties to reserve the remaining June dates, beginning on the 16th, on which the trial is scheduled to resume.

One can only hope that via the NSA, or other black bag (illegal entry activities) they KNOW what he has and have good grounds to try to suppress it!

Seems like Snow is trying to scout out (or perhaps even tamper with) the evidence on behalf of Obama’s crooks - who Montgomery says hired him to do illegal activities including monitoring the communications of judges and others. There’s no reason for Snow to have Montgomery’s proprietary materials, and no reason for him to check out the BC investigation. None of that has anything to do with whether or not Arpaio is guilty of contempt. It’s clearly an illegal fishing expedition on the part of Snow, and that makes the whole thing all the more suspicious.

Bush 41 was not skilled at appointing Judges....

It is part of his destructive legacy in appointing so many moderate judges. Bush 41 was a terrible President, and if the Democrats hadn't ran such a scuzzbucket in 1992, I would have voted for the Democrat just to make the awful Bush administration end.

I agree totally!

Big fishing expedition to try to see what Arpaio has...maybe to get the sealed affidavit from Reed Hayes, perhaps into a court record prior to Arpaio releasing it?

Maybe just part of a big DELAYING ACTION! Run out the clock...

To correct the record, G. Murray Snow is a George W. Bush appointee not a G.H.W. Bush appointee. He became a federal district court judge in 2008.
Arizona’s federal court currently has 3 other Bush 43 appointees, 2 Clinton judges and 9 Obama judges.

Fine. The point is he was not a Democrat.

There was also the point that Bush 41 did a bad job of appointing judges. Not this judge however.

I stand corrected. At age 65, but mostly due to my ME/CFS I will need correcting from time to time and must be humble enough to welcome it from all quarters!

No problem at all. I just wanted everyone to know that Snow belongs to Dubya.

Thanks Siezethecarp. Given the delay ad infinitum of meaningful new developments from MCSO on the birth certificate, I’ve gotten a bit out of the loop on the day to day analysis and speculation.

Are people beginning to guess that the earth shattering evidence touted by Zullo was in fact MCSO’s apparent discovery that the court appointed monitor had been directed to broaden the scope of his investigation in order to scrutinize MCSO’s work on the birth certificate? Is that even a possibility, given the timelines? Sorry I don’t remember when the monitor had begun his/her work.

I wonder if when MCSO saw the broadened monitor powers, if that became the tipping point to spin off the secondary taxpayer funded investigation indirectly related to the CCP birth certificate probe. When Gallups or Zullo referred to a dark twist that had developed, might the unsaid explanation have been, “because we now know that the monitor appointed by the court supposedly for anti-discrimination matters has been quietly asked to look into what we’ve discovered related to Obama’s birth certificate”?

If the earth shattering development is no more and no less than the fact that MCSO noticed the feds/DOJ wanted to see what MCSO had overturned about the Birth Certificate (the Hayes report as you mention in post 25, etc.), that would be interesting, surely. To be honest though, in my opinion, it would seem less meaningful than if the earth shattering development referred to the emergence of some new, virtually indisputable item of evidence directly related to Obama’s birth narrative such as a yet unseen tell-tale document or a damning bit of testimony from a key eye-wintess.

In any case, I’m glad that Arpaio and his MCSO/CCP tried valiantly to get to the bottom of this, and I desperately hope that one day we’ll know what they did and didn’t discover and what the secret developments were that prompted the various enshrouded Zullo/Gallups teaser statements.

No, this just happened...

What the “Universe Shattering Evidence” is has not been disclosed, but is still pending, according to Gallups.

Sharon Rondeau, deep in her long-winded article at the top of the thread says that Arpaio is at risk of being accused of retaliating against Obama and the DOJ for bringing immigration enforcement cases against him if he goes public with new BC or other identity fraud evidence.

Arpaio’s evidenced has to be rock solid and it really needs to be brought against Barry by some law enforcement agency OTHER THAN ARPAIO OR BY CONGRESS to avoid charges that it is just Arpaio retaliating against these stupid DOJ immigration monitoring actions!

How about that mightily articulate Sheriff Clarke from Wisconsin who has been featured on Megan Kelly's and Sean Hannity's programs, discovered as we was last year during the Ferguson riots, and who continues his commentary now re: Baltimore?

Sheriff Clarke rocks! Not sure he would have any jurisdiction over the “Universe Shattering Evidence”...especially since Sheriff Arpaio has repeatedly stated that basically only Congress can pick up the issue at this point!

Seems like Snow is trying to scout out (or perhaps even tamper with) the evidence on behalf of Obama’s crooks - who Montgomery says hired him to do illegal activities including monitoring the communications of judges and others.

It was Arpaio and the MCSO who hired Dennis Montgomery on the belief he could access communications among the DOJ, Judge Snow and a host of others. That revelation and admission by Arpaio now makes referral for criminal contempt of the Court's order very likely. Snow ordered preservation of the MCSO records pertaining to Montgomery given a history with the MCSO of records going "missing."

You've got two factual points backwards here.

Where is that admission by Arpaio?

You’ve got it backwards. Arpaio was concerned that the regime was spying on HIM as well as on others such as Snow, as Montgomery claimed. He didn’t hire anybody to spy on Snow or anybody else. He did have a private investigator check out whether Snow’s wife had claimed that Snow was trying to get rid of Arpaio - which is a perfectly valid question.

But what does Arpaio being concerned about being spied on have to do with whether he was in contempt of Snow’s order?

It has nothing to do with it. Just like the BC investigation has nothing to do with it.

Snow is on a fishing expedition, as I said.

Spew your poison somewhere else.
