"Gay marriage" makes it impossible to fulfill a single clause of the stated purposes of the Constitution.
You can't possibly "form a more perfect Union" by destroying the most important first bonds that tie together any society, the bonds of holy matrimony, and the bonds of the natural family.
You can't "establish Justice" by committing the gross injustice of destroying the first and most important institution of civil society, which is the family.
You can't "insure domestic Tranquility" by committing violence against domestic life.
You can't "provide for the common defense" by destroying the source of the next generation that must defend the republic, or by crippling the only moral basis that can possibly make them an effective fighting force.
You can't "promote the general Welfare," which is the welfare or well-being of the whole body of the people, by destroying the well-being of that body's most crucial component parts.
You cannot "secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity" if you have destroyed that Posterity and its incubator, which is the family.
Marriage is of a unique, sublime, ineffable nature. It is a God-breathed mystery. It is among His greatest gifts to mankind, the nexus of His eternal plan and all true, lasting, earthly riches. It is the foundational building block of all decent civic, governmental institutions. It is the basis of all true economics. It breeds peace and prosperity. I’m glad somebody appreciates it, but I get the feeling few want to hear.
Whatever liberals are up to at any given moment, you can bet every non-vital organ that it’s completely unconstitutional. They’ve created the term “Constitutional Scholar” to allow a select few manipulators to take a relatively simple and straight forward document and convolute it beyond recognition. They want you to think everything in there has a double meaning, that freedom means dependence on government. That speech means sex. That freedom of religion means freedom from religion.

Should Ginsburg and Kagan have recused themselves on the sodomite ‘marriage’ vote..?
They should recuse themselves from their citizenship as Americans.
But there was no way on God’s green earth they were going to recuse themselves from this case.
And nobody with the power to make them do so.
Although, if we had a real Congress, they would have been impeached and removed within a week of issuing such an opinion.

Here's how: Justices Ginsburg and Kagan violated Federal Law by not recusing themselves on the marriage case. Here's the law they violated: "Any justice...shall disqualify himself in any proceeding in which his impartiality might reasonably be questioned." --28 U.S. Code § 455
Ohio AG Mike DeWine can file a motion to rehear the marriage ruling (before July 20th) on the grounds that Ginsburg & Kagan were illegally a part of deciding the case.
Only four justices are needed to accept DeWine's motion!
Ginsburg and Kagan can be also be removed from ruling on the motion on the very same grounds: Federal law requires them to to disqualify themselves where their "impartiality might reasonably be questioned."
That can turn a 5-4 loss into a 4-3 victory for marriage and our freedoms. Think that's worth a phone call?

I think I will stick with listening to Ted Cruz on matters of the law and the Constitution. Your argument is pretty good as rhetoric, but would be laughed out of every court in America, no matter the judge, as law.
Cruz thinks states can have “gay marriage” if they want to. That’s a violation of God’s law and the natural law.
Laugh all you want. You’re laughing at Cicero, and Aquinas, and Blackstone, and Locke, and Hamilton. And eventually you’ll get to explain it go God, and you won’t be laughing then.
