Let me ask you something hosepipe. What's your stake in this?
Are you in the USA? If so are you an amnesty sympathizer or something?
The only logical explanation for your derangement is that you either support Rubio/Bush for some insane reason, or you are opposed to blocking amnesty. Do you have a horse in this race?
--------------------------------------------------------

Yes; Alaska the most conservative State..
Derangement?.. Rubio/Bush?.. opposed to blocking amnesty?..
Dog in this fight?.. Yes..

Man are YOU a low information poster.. jeese.. get busy..

Yes... Ted Cruz.. the ONLY candidate TESTed, PROVEN, CONFIRMed and prepared to be President of the United States this Cycle..

100% Conservative... not some lesser percentage..

OR a die hard known confirmed liberal.. TRUMP.. he brags about it..
Maybe he's had his "JUDAS MOMENT" playing a conservative game ONLY to RAT OUT the conservatives when Crony Capitalist in Chief..

The Game is Afoote'.. Much is at Stake..

It could Very well be the LAST Real election America will ever HAVE... UNLESS. Cruz is elected..
HYPERBOLE?.. no way... this is very real.. extremely real..

Being bewitched by Trumpahol.. can make one STUPID..

--------------------------
HOWEVER: that said, Trump could be very USEFUL in Cruz's Cabinet..
And Walker and Carson.. or running a Exec-Div Agency as it's SHUT DOWN.. CLOSED.. not revamped like Trump may/will do..

By the Way.. Cruz as a Hispanic has the credibility to deport or make illegals self-deport.. which is better option..

And if something as abortion remains today like it was when Reagan took office, then you are comfortable with sodomy being like it is cemented into the fabric of American life? And you think there won’t be an army of lawyers rushing to federal courts claiming due process rights; securing stay orders and injunctions on mass scale deportations with tear-jerking stories of children being ripped from their parents and daily tv coverage? and when all this is stymied we can all live on the leftover the hoopla of Trumpetism? This is sophomoric nonsense even assuming the improbable that Trump can win.
To many of us, its Cruz or lose. Trump lacks gravitas that he is incapable of a coherent and realistic response to any complex domestic or international issue.

I love Cruz, Ted is pretty much perfect except for that Senate treaty fiasco, but he is no doubt the #1 conservative in government today, or at least tied with Lee and Sessions and a handful of House members. He is so good I think of him as our nearest James Madison. I would want him on the ... Supreme Court .... So he can terrorize liberals for generations, rather than get beat to a pulp in four years by those that hate and despise us in the beltway. You don't realize it yet, but you really wouldn't want to see the outcome with a Christian Conservative in the big chair. At least not until a wrecking ball lays waste to the establishment first!

My favorite guy of all time, well since Reagan, is Alan Keyes. Uber Christian Conservative and the most Constitutional preaching American since forever. Jefferson, Madison, Adams and the rest of the founders oozed from his very pores. As did God. I was so behind him in 2000 that I would have written him in if Bush43 hadn't picked Cheney, another old favorite of mine, ( and now I wish I had written him in ). But the point is, I wasn't thinking clearly because if I had I would realize that he would have been decimated inside the beltway, maybe impeached. They hate us down there. I would literally give a kidney if it would put him on the Supreme Court, Cruz too. It would be a small thing to do for my Country. And they would be effective there.

No, I am not vaguely comfortable with homo marriage or any other "decided" issue. But how on Earth did you miss the entire point of all that typing I did in that last post??? ... What would you have the *President* do about it. No wishing allowed, cite his actual power!

Good heavens! We have enough of Obama precedent to now have executive orders issued allowing federal employees to use freedom of conscience under the Free Exercise Clause to not enforce gay marriage laws. Gov. Brown and Kamala Harris for example did not execute the California law in trying to uphold Prop 8.

Further, a President could do the obverse of what Obama is doing. That is, refuse to sign any appropriations bills that has funding for Planned Parenthood, or shall we say funding for the education department.

I know you think you answered the question, but you did not. What would you have him do as President within the confines of the Constitution? No wishes allowed.

If we dug up Andrew Jackson even he would not tell the Extreme Court again: 'He made his ruling not let him enforce it'. Not in today's atmosphere where the Court has maneuvered itself into unquestioned supremacy ( and that is truly our failing at Eternal Vigilance ).

Please don't take this the wrong way but how old are you? It is pointless arguing with a young'n over most things, especially when they are self-evident.

We are investing too much faith in the office of the Presidency. It doesn't matter what Obama did with (R)ino enabling, it doesn't change the fact that the office was designed to be a caretaker position. The sooner we get back to that the better. I get depressed when our side views that office as Santa Claus or Godlike, because it only serves to raise false expectations and makes us dumber as a whole.

You sell the powers of the Presidency short. Old enough to have two Ph.D’s, but not that it matters.

I apologize about guessing your age wrong.

Still no answer to the question though.
