I get the impression that they are being manipulated/coordinated by anarchists- they think they will change the world one murder at a time or are seeing how many believers they can whip up. It’s so off-the-rails extreme I sense gullible people being manipulated by wanna-bees (rulers over the new utopia). I can imagine that the percentage is small and loud - louder than otherwise possible without social media.

I think your sense of the situation is right on the mark. Most black people aren't going to want to have anything to do with these anarchists and murderers.
