Hmmmm... This looks like something a petite woman like myself might like.
How many chambers in the cylinder? (ie. how many rounds does it hold?)
I have one of those on my wish list. VERY versatile! I own many .410’s and love that round. There’s so much you can do with it, especially if you do your own reloading. The one thing that’s never made sense to me, is why they cost so much more than a 20 or 12! I can’t think of a single logical explanation other than just because they CAN charge more.
Volume of sales.
For use as a survival weapon by size and weight I would stay with my Ruger Mark II 5.5” bull barrel before considering that flimsy single shot as a possibility.
Wow. I finally meet soemone else who has been in the El Toro px!
+1 on the 66!
Yes.
12 gauge bird shot is one of the best deals out there.

If I had to ditch my 10/22 in a survival situation, it wouldn’t be for a single shot anything ;-)
Single shot (I’m guessing) is ideal for those just learning to shoot & absorb recoil. I know when I was teaching the kids revolver basics, we started with 1 round at a time. But I digress...
Henry AR-7 is MUCH lighter & fits perfectly in my ruck, but my accuracy is better with the Takedown.
Different strokes, I guess. Whatever works for the individual is the best rifle right?
Its cute but I would not give up our 10/22 with a 25 round mag. Nothing says survival like a high capacity mag. :-)
One of the Take Down models lives in the spare tire well of each of our vehicles. Topped them off with Nikon scopes and slid 4 of the 25 round magazines into the carry case.
There’s still room for an XD pistol and 3 mags for that. Handy little item to have in an emergency situation. Surprisingly accurate for a 2 piece rifle, too. Ruler does some fine engineering, that is for sure.
Best.

Mr. GG2 just picked up the XDS in 9mm for CC. Sweet gun. for serious situations he has the XDM in .40.
GMTA. I have the XDS in .45 for daily carry. For what you get in the box I think it’s the best value available right now.
Check out the Lula loading tools. They’ll save wear and tear on your thumb. I got Mrs L one in pink. She loves it.
Have a pleasant day.

Folding stocks are a no-no in New Jersey. They look “scary”.
Sorry for all in NJ.

Will do.
> Agreed. How much use is a single shot? Give me a 10/22 Takedown any day.
If you don’t hit what you’re aiming at with your very first shot, then you might as well take the rest of the bullets and throw them at the prey. Also, single shot weapons are more reliable in maintenance.
Agreed. Loved mine.
