Rumor has long been that McCarthy and Rep. Renee Ellmers are having an affair. So far, the MSM has been silent about it. But it's already out there.

Mccarthy is a Silicon Valley Amnesty H 1 Visas puppet .
He destroyed the CA Hop when in secret signed off on a Dem cooked redidtricting scheme which wiped out all the seats that kept the Dems from a filibuster proof state house.
In return , his seat was saved from redistricting .

His campaigning for Ellmers is a big bad one for me.

Shouldn’t the speaker candidate’s home stated voted R for POTUS at least once in the last 20 years? This is 2nd in line in POTUS sucession, after all. If he could guarantee flipping CA red in a one-off next Nov, that’d be different, but he can’t.
It should be by popular vote % of the State in the last POTUS election: the top 5 States gets all their reps considered, with those serving/ranking high on committees being given most weight.

Listen, I dont claim to know much of anything about McCarthy.
Heck, I had never even seen a picture of him until today and realized only then he was the guy standing behind Boehner yesterday while Boehner was blubbering like an idiot for some unknown reason.
I pulled up some information on his conservative rating and saw at least on that particular site that he had a MUCH higher conservative rating than John McCain and Boehner, and almost as high as a rock rib conservative like Louie Gohmert. So to me with that limited information it seemed we were heading in the right direction and getting someone far more conservative than Boehner.
But, I could be wrong.

Here is the issue. Forget the fake ratings. McCarthey is and always will be more liberal than Boehner. Unless there is a new conservative alternative it will be worse than before.
