Like I said, I usually devote it to just family but I made the mistake of sticking up for a guy what was being harassed by the VegaNazis.
This is Twitter's strong point, actually -- up-to-the-minute reportage, right then and there. It is good for keeping people abreast of major events -- i.e. riots, shootings, etc.
But as a regular communication device, I find it dry & dull. Too ADHD -- scattershot. Very little of depth. Ditto for Instagram, which a comedian called a visual Twitter.
Malkin sold Twitchy just in time.
