That shirt ain’t even worth saving for outdoor emergencies.
Poor or no training. I can see two things right off the bat he was doing wrong.

Thank goodness Dad taught my Bro and I the proper way to field dress critters back in our single digit years. All the way up to Roosevelt elk in the backcountry of Oregon.

At least he was wearing nitriles on to keep his fingernails clean.....

I remember the first deer I killed. Got it back to the cabin, dressing it out under the back porch light. Knife in one hand and an Outdoor Life article in the other hand. I do recall them making a BIG DEAL about staying away from the intestinal parts. I also recall not liking the taste of the heart at all!
