Citizenry doesn’t have to go along with it, just another case of the ‘leadership’ not going along with citizens thoughts or needs and they keep getting reelected because even though one may not like the actions of their ‘representative’, losing them in the governing body may cost him/her/it a buck or two.
Just going by the old theory that WE all stand up and can agree that ALL lawyers, Politicians etc are crooks, crooked, out for themselves, hate them all, etc etc etc - EXCEPT for ‘mine’ he/she/it is pretty good and just hope the Rest don’t corrupt him/her/it.
THAT is why we keep getting the same old deadwood back in office.
If you can’t get an opposition in the primary, just vote for the ‘other’ guy...won’t take too many cycles to make a BIG change.

I loved being a Boy Scout... I was 80% the way to Eagle when I got tossed out for drinking...
I think I was 15, me and three other guys went for an evening stroll, happened upon a road, hitchhiked into town and got a case of beer.
I’d never had more than a sip before, so after we all tried to polish off our own six packs (PBR) there was no hiding it when we got back to camp, they found the trail of cans too lol
It’s a fun story but I sure got my regrets... I wanted that Eagle Scout, dammit
...and I suspect it wasn’t the isolated act so much as one more indication overall, of just what we all have to look forward too with this unchecked, immigration of a people and their “culture”. I don’t think the vast majority have a clue what this really means, but it sure does not look like the smart thing to be doing.

I’ve been in public restrooms in Europe where there are no stalls for the toilets and people sit next to each other to defecate and then stand up and wipe less than 2 feet from another person who is sitting doing his own business. Then there are the trough style toilets in Italy where you just stand and squat over a tough of running water.
People in Europe and Asia have a very different standard for what is decent and private than us puritanical Americans. Muslims are a lot of bad things, but when it comes to sexual repression, no one beats an American who was born before 1990.

hell my brother made Eagle Scout in a troop with a scoutmaster who was an old Vietnam Vet hippie who drank and smoked pot around them and they thought he was cool.
