Political screwed up which they do more often than not and by design they try to twist facts into their predetermined narrative.
And Donald Trump merely mentioned it was a big story, if true and did not mention or attribute anything to Politico as other sources also climbed onto it. Donald Trump did say he won’t have anything to do with Politico because their dishonesty is so great.
And so this thread’s comments were steered toward discrediting Donald Trump without justification.
And I am asking for THE link/quote from Trump as seen in post #1 of this thread. I don't need links to Politico or other sites. This is not a complex request.

Our side is not real into smarts. I think Ben is a nice guy, but I do not think he is the guy we want to fight the Clinton machine.
Ben Carson is not the hill to die on. I do believe we are going to end up with Jeb. We just do not have the moxy to fight like street fighters.
We should know by now what we are up against, but we are too damn nice and we are going to pay for that in all ways.

Actually I said NOTHING about Trump until Hostages post 51. Had he not been so nasty I wouldn't have looked for Trump's tweet.

You are exactly correct - he lives in the moment, whatever works for that moment. If anyone questions what he did or said, he comes down on them with furor, tweeting hateful personal attacks in the night hours. I don’t see that behavior as presidential behavior.
Trump is right Carson is a liar and a fraud.

Nope again. I was defending Carson. My posts had NOTHING to do with Trump until I got to Post 51.
