I can’t wait to see how the Trump supporters justify this, and tell us how this shows what a great campaigner Trump is... What it does reveal is Trump’s total ignorance of Christianity in general and evangelicals in particular.

Cruz is showing restraint, which is a sign of true strength. Also very presidential.
I don’t have a problem with Cruz questioning Trump, neither does Trump. Cruz should be brave and do it to his face rather than leaked stuff.
Yes, it is false and there will many more like it. There will also be many who will take the bait without taking the time to listen to what Trump says rather than what the MSM and the GOP elite say that he said. Ted Cruz is the darling of both the Left and the Right now because he’s the last best hope against Trump for both. Carson enjoyed this position for a time but he blew it.

Exactly correct that the media wrongly reported that Trump attacked Cruz.
In his Iowa rally Trump really did not attack Cruz. He simply made a statements of differences of opinion which was hardly an attack.
It is as if, for example, both Trump and Cruz love Ferraris but Trump likes red ones and Cruz likes yellow ones.
Trump then makes a public statement that Cruz does not like red Ferraris.
The next day the media everywhere announces that Trump launched a blistering attack on Cruz for not liking red Ferraris. That’s how the press reacts making a tempest in a tea pot.
First there was Bush.
Then it was Fiorina.
Then Carson.
Then Rubio.
And now Cruz.
All paper tigers created by the media.
You know I forgot to add that had Cruz people taken the time to listen to Trump’s last rally in Iowa they would have realized Trump said something very profound about Cruz during the Q&A. Very, very profound!
Trump said that there would definitely be a prominent place for Cruz in a Trump administration. Of course the press would somehow spin this as a blistering attack on Cruz. Somehow they forgot to report this. Does not sound like Trump hates Cruz.
The media is simply dying for a fight.
I think Trump and Cruz have got some kind of deal going.
What it is I have no clue but those two are up to something. If after the primaries those two pool resources they would make an unstoppable crushing juggernaut. The talent in their two respective organizations would vaporize anything the media or establishment has to throw at them.
We would witness the reducing of the media and establishment to rubble and the blowing up of the PC culture. Sends shivers up my spine!

Trump was a lot nicer about Cruz than I’d have been. I’m not electing a preacher and Cruz is a phony. If you can’t see that pious bunch of BS for what it is, I can’t help you.
My post was not meant as a criticism of Cruz. In fact, I support him.
