Hunting Trespasser gets Painted on Private Land

I don’t get the whole hunter trespasser types.
A friend regularly confronts trespassers on his property and he’s had the same type of threats attempted on him. He’s confiscated all of their stands once he finds them.

Are hunters that violent that they’ll murder a landowner? WTF is wrong with these people? They know they’re squatting on somebody else’s land.

I told one guy that if he wanted to enjoy the benefits of land ownership,he should go buy some land.Never forget that a small percentage of the population has a definable mental illness.A lot of the guys I run off are just too lazy to find out who owns a property and ask permission to hunt.A few just don’t give a damn and trespass until caught.And then there’s the nuts who may threaten you.I watch the body language of trespassers very carefully.

Farmer, it’s a sad state we’re in when you have to make others understand the “rules” of common courtesy and respect.

Seems like hunting on your own property can be hazardous based on all the stories I’ve heard.
