We all need to remember that Ted Cruz has actually done more for the Second Amendment at the Supreme Court than Trump has even thought of. That being stated, I am very happy that Trump is going to be recognized by the NRA, and I support Cruz then Trump for the nominee of the pubbie party.

Trump head are making a huge mistake. He wants single payer health insurance for God's sake. He wants to imminent domain private land. He just became pro life and nobody knows the last time he's been to church. There is a half dozen other topics he a Dem on, but Trump heads won't bother to even look.
Cruz is the real conservative here and I will be disappointed if the NRA supports Trump.

Are you serious? Ted Cruz is one of only three Senators to be rated A+ by Gunowners of America. He has been a longtime, consistent supporter of RKBA.

My thoughts too - Cruz seems the likely choice unless one thinks Trump is more likely to be nominated.
If Trump falls out, they can always become Cruz fans (would also work other way a round but Trump's current numbers do look more promising at this time).
Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
We need to ensure we don't get another Obama-like America Hater as the next President.
The best way to ensure that is to actively support a candidate as the next President.
I prefer Cruz and my money goes to his campaign, hence the Cruz link.
